abuseLol! This is such a kewl ficlet!
I love Elladan’s last line. It really brings the whole story together. The kinda ‘prequel’ nature of it to A Tangled Web is great.
Heh, and Haldir’s lil trick on his brothers was gr8 too. It seems like exactly the sort of punishment I would imagine him giving his younger bros – frightening them out of their wits! Lol
It’s funny how in the future Orophin is going to be the one chasing after Meril, because here she and Rumil seem gr8 for one another. I guess all those years must have caused them to change much, as I don’t think anyone could be more smitten with another elf as Orophin is with Meril. [in the future, that is.] Great, I’m not making any sense whatsoever… oh well, nothing new…]
Well, all that’s left to say, is *please* update A Tangled Web soon! I can’t wait for some of the ‘unravelling’ to begin- the reactions of some of the characters are sure to be hilarious!!

abuseOh, goodness...hehehe...*gasp*... that was really, terribly funny! And you did it under the influence of Vic's? incredible!! All that to steal a boat...oops sorry, borrow!! Now, those quotes seem familiar, you didn't happen to "borrow" them from Pirates of the carribean?? One note, perhaps instead of bay, inlet, as it is a river.. but thats justa trifle and i wouldn't change it for the world! BEAUTIFUL!!
Rumil is so edible!! Great story visualisation as well!!
much goodluck

abuseOh my God, that was absolutely hysterical. I loved the bit at the end with the twins. "How hard can it possibly be to steal a boat?" It was a nice way to finish off the story. Oh, what I lovely little one shot, this is going right on my favorite's list where it belongs.
