Woot! Didn't I tell you that I would review this eventually? ;)

Ahh. What to say this time. Guh. To be totally honest, so much happened in this story that I don't even know what to tell you besides everything I already said in my other reviews! Sam and Wanda are just so perfect together in an oddly skewed way, and I think JP and Pietro are now one of my favorite couples in all fandom... which is very weird because... I don't usually read slash. Something to ponder about later.

A few more things to say. Omg, will we ever see JM again? It broke my heart to read what Aurora said to JP - and how Aurora refers to JM as a weak person. I really felt bummed out for JP there - how heartbreaking is that to have your twin sister not even care that you can't touch each other anymore?

I really like the pairing of Warren and JM/Aurora. It's great to see how they compliment one another, and how he's willing to love her despite the fact that JM is gone and Aurora has apparently taken control.

And... I kinda feel bad for Magneto. I mean, he was a crappy father and everything, and I can understand why Pietro and Wanda don't want to have anything to do with the man, but still. He's their dad, and I wish they would have at least given him a chance to rebuild his relationship with them, you know? But not all stories have happy endings, so I'm fine with that. I did like how you tied in Magneto's brainwash to the X-men: Evo epilogue, with Magneto teaching the New Mutants and everything.

Cheers for now. :)

Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm really glad you ended up finishing this. I've read Relativity, Here Comes Trouble and Thicker than Water more than once over the past few years, and I've always thought they were awesome... and now it's done. I guess I just have to get started on Must Be the Music, eh?

Thanks very much for writing - your work is wonderful.

Oh my god, it's all over, and I didn't even know. I feel all out of the loop and like I missed a huge thing. That being said, I loved it. I've always loved this series of stories of yours and how you took Evo after the end. Granted you're one of the few people who does the Brotherhood justice.

There's a meloncholy, a bittersweetness to the end of this story and considering the focus on the Beaubiers and Maximoffs and a bit of the Summers, was there really any other ending possible? It's good to see the story end with the Brotherhood whole. JP and JM-there was no reconciling there that wouldn't end with one of them compromizing more than they want to.

My heart aches for Warren who is desperate to hang on to the girl he loves and I cannot see it ending prettily for them. But you know, I'm a fan of the winged man. Sammy was lovely per usual, and who wouldn't want to kiss him? Totally with Wanda on that one. ;)

A fantastic finish to a fantastic series.

The best comics have a beginning, middle and end. The better comics have endings that have momentum; leaving you satisfied in what you have just read but open to more. The best comics make you eager to follow through on that end and long for the next chapter.

I have officially stayed up way past my bedtime to finish this and I am glad I did. Something about Logan, JP and Scott (Scott! Who became an MVP in this story out of left field!) sharing some beer in a quiet moment of peace to let it all sink in with a measure of stability... it's perfect. I can't think of a single thing in this story that could have been better now that the finished product has been revealed.
You're going back in my bookmarks because what comes next is going to be fantastic.

Can I say the battle sequencing has greatly improved? Yes I can!
So much to say, so little time to say it in because I really want to read what's next. So, in short:
- Kitty stood on a small outcropping, closing her eyes as a small but frigid breed? 'Breed'?
- Wow! Magda! And Magneto's coming back with them? This I gotta see!
- You have a fantastic Wolverine narration style.
- Yes, it is a sad day when JP has to get Pietro somewhere quickly.
- I worry about Jeanne Marie. I worry about what's going to happen to them when JP gets back. I worry that they might not get a come clean chapter like the Maximoffs did. I'm not saying everyone should have a happy homelife, but... man. They started out so tight and now that the danger is winding down, what's going to happen to them?
- Perhaps because the last chapter was so tight and focused, I wasn't really sure what Remy was 'testing' with Warren. Maybe I shouldn't know.

I swear I'm reading this in order and you're just reading my mind.
I mean, I mention getting people glasses of water, you bring me Gatorade Feed(tm). I'm thinking we could use some funny about now, *Bam!* Magneto in dockers. My socks are completely off.
And I'm just going to say this moment of Magneto Family Semi-Trust is made all the sweeter by the fact we all know Magneto is going to go back to the cruel man we all know and love. Man won't stay in his pleated pants for long, so his meticulous care for his children doesn't come across so much as love or devotion, but a need for things that are his. Expertly done.
Okay, I'm going to stop and hit up the next chapter, but again, thank you for coming back to us. =)

Oh my god, the tears! Everyone in this fic is going to need big glasses of water. =D
Things are really coming together now and you can tell that the story is doling out the Christmas presents. There's a great focus to this chapter and the one before it, too I think, and while you have so many characters with so many stories and so much plot to pass around, I'm here for the Beaubiers and Maximoffs so I admit a bias when the main plot's in full force. I know I must have said it before, but your POV narratives from different character's perspective continue to delight me.
Having JP arrive like the Canadian angel he is, hand to God, I thought you were going to pull a dream sequence/Mastermind trick on me! But no, I just think we're coming on home.
And after which, everyone can take a nap. I mena, that's a lot of crying, folks. Great work!

2007-04-28 . chapter 14
I weep for the fact I missed chapters in this epic, especially this chapter because WOW! If this is why you wrote the thing in the first place, man have you hit the nail on the head! I am strangely comforted by the Maximoffs coming clean with one another and getting a bond through all the madness. Expertly written and with a lot of care. Sure, sometime descriptions or inner monologues got a little repetitive but really, when things get this big, this important, what else can the brain think to say?
And just as Pietro and Wanda are finding themselves, JP and JM have lost each other! OMG! I knew it was coming, I knew it wasn't going to be pretty but JP at the end of his rope is incredible. And not just the angst levels 'cause boy, they are there, but that emotional damage is heartbreaking! And having Scott Summers be the one to set him back on his feet and be the X-Men Rock(tm) that I have come to adore was perfect.
It's funny, when I first read this, I wasn't that impressed by the fight scenes with the Marauders, but you know what? I don't come here for the pulse-pounding action. I come to watch friends in crisis pull through and be heroes.
Fantastic work and I am incredibly glad for the secret mental summons that got me to find your work again. =)

This was possibly one of the best fanfictions I've read in a long time. I really hope that there will be more of this, and especially I want to read more about Jean-Paul and Pietro's relationship, which seems to catch them both so very in character. ^^

Keep up the good work and I sincerely hope to read more from you at a later time.

I love the open-endedness of this, that JP and JM don't solve all their problems, and Magneto isn't reconciled with his kids, that Alex is still single at the end, and so on.

I've a real soft-spot for brainwashed Magneto, so I loved that. I like that JM just can't let herself go back, even though she knows what it's doing to JP. And JP has to admit just how much having family meant, and live with the pain now. I like him and pietro, settling back into their relationship. They're both struggling with personal issues, but theiy're not letting those become isues between them. I like the Scott/Alex chat, that things are alright between them and they both seem a little surprised at how okay they've come out of this.

Oh, and I love the beer. Especially that Scott hasn't had any before. He's so very boy scout, and yet sovery not irritating in this.

Thinking on the subject of probably no sequel - how about oneshots? Just random snippets, when you feel like revisting the verse. No update pressure, and no writing the bits that have to be there but you don't enjoy. Of course, I'm so utterly hooked to Fallen Angels (as far as I'm concerned now, it's my x-title of choice, and I have to stop myself from composing fic based on it), that whatever you do, I'll be deliriously happy. I just hope you have fun doing whatever you do.
