Like so far. Just one question, will Rei be the only one that gets their wish granted, or will you involve the others as well?

I see this hasn't been updated in awhile and as I read the prologue the Magical user was supposed to give all three Children their 'Wish'. So will we see more on this or will this rot with the rest of the unfinished but well written stories out there?

Ouch! Asuka got Pwned! Great fic, love the idea of someone doing something for the Children instead of just ignoring it. I mean, what the hell?! Misato's a military commander ranked as Major, she's got to have at least some experience with psychological issues! Even if she isn't able to handle her own problems (again, she's a major, someone should point it out or pull her in for treatment) she has a responsibility toward her charges, especially seeing as how two of them are minors under her guardianship. Instead, she drafts Shinji into being her personal maid (how the hell can they just let her take him in when she's clearly unable to take care of herself?!) and later on allows Asuka to bully him as much as she wants. Meanwhile she ignores Rei, if she was going to take in the Children why doesn't she begin with the girl who's so badly off it's a wonder she's able to function at all in everyday society. Bah, I'm blabbering, cool fic, love it, hope you write more.

i don't know about anyone else, but i would like to see more of this. rei, and let's be honest, all characters need a bit of interpreting to 'fit' in our heads. i liked how you fit rei into a believeable reality. it's not all that preposterous (did i spell that right?). i wonder what i would see in the shinji and asuka of your set. because really, we're all borrowing these folks in our heads, why not take 'em for a spin? hope to see more soon.

This fic is also great. I can't think of anything to improve in this fic except for update time =). Update soon please. This is great.

Ohh, I have much love for this chapter -- particularly how Rei expounds upon her own thoughts and feelings while prompting Ikari-kun to do the same. ^^;; You are so right when you say that those who speak the least often think the most ... and the portrayals of Rei in the series and in this fic serve as a testament to that fact.

At this point, I have only one thing to say to Rei -- "You go Girl!" This is a *great* story and I love how you progress through all of Rei's thoughts and feelings. That's why she's my favorite character in the series!

You captured Rei, her character, her longings, so perfectly here. And we see the magic shop come into the play for the first time (once again, GLEE). I can't wait to see how the first wish transpires!

This first chapter reminds me of a line from Ender's Game -- "you're free until humanity needs you." An excellent analysis of the Children, and the Council of Nine appears the ideal figurehead for a group of people who doesn't want Third Impact to occur and kill everyone. Also, I love the device of a magic shop! Glee! ^^

QUITE an intriguing story. I like where you're going with this. I like it a lot. You're adding depth to Rei, in a way that is both amusing and at times heart-wrenching. Several times, Rei said and did things that left me thinking, "You go, girl!" I also liked the caption on Kensuke's shirt. I might see about making a shirt like that for my avatar in the game Second Life. Anyway, I'm rambling too much. I would like to volunteer to pre-read subsequent chapters. I'm also interested to see how this arc continues with the other two pilots' wishes...
