Finally something good shows up in the digimon section of I will have to admit your sense of writing is done very well, and the emotions of Gargoylemon's life can reflect on people. Well it did for me anyways. This seems proper to set the stage for another story about his life after the chosen children,. but of course that is by your own discresion.

Anyway, I loved this story and I will watch for more updates from you.

Well I know about Gargoylemon, considering I use him in my fic too (through not exactly the way you do here), and it was really nice to see a fic with him in it.

Plus, its about the Digimon, their characters and hardships, and not some kids. That's something I always like to see. Not so much as having them end up as 'fighting tools'.
Gives a lot more depth into them.

I guess turning to stone during the day is from the old legends, or the Gargoyles animation series. It's cool though.

Erm, mind if I comment a bit? Reading it off the Japanese cards, Gargoylemon is a virus type.
All the straps around his body are apparently meant to seal off his demonic side.
I think the O and X on his gauntlets are something about light and darkness like you mentioned, but I can't remeber.
Got to go back to that Japanese website and find out. ^^

I'm really more of a dragon, but gargoyles seem to interest me a lot too.
