You left everyone on a cliffhanger!

Even while I squee!ed a little over Okita being in RK I seriously can't picture him as anything but how he looked in Peacemaker because he was so awesome there that there is no going past it? or something. ANYWAY seeing him in this and the whole universes colliding made me squee too. :D

You can't end it there! No way! This story is too good! This chapter was wonderful, and we love how the theme here is sibling relationships...Tsurayaki and Yuki are very very intriguing, and Yuki in particular, is scary! Love how more of Okita's personality is coming through, especially the part where he bought the sweets...lol! Hijikata's sister is an interesting addition, and the plot has definitely thickened...we hope it will be updated soon... :)

What an original and exciting premise you have here! Love your explanation for how Okita was saved, and how everyone thought him dead. Clever of him to swap places with Hegi. (Who was so cute by the way. Loved their talk of pigs...Saizou! _) Soujirou is his brother! Wowo. The ending line was very funny. Everything about this story is delightful.

This chapter drew us right in, with its intriguing opening paragraph. Yes it did sound like Kenshin for a moment, lol. Soujirou is wonderful in this story, and exactly as we'd imagine him after he started wandering. The "riceball musings" were very cute. The bit with naked Soujirou standing there in the mud, earnestly asking for his things, was a giggle. And poor Kenki, with his sad poetry written in the sand, and his life on the beach, all alone, waiting for people to come seek revenge...Loved the build up of suspense, and how we gradually found out who Kenki was! Okita Souji, who would have thought! We can't wait to read more of this, m, nice to sink your teeth into a good story..._

Well, this is an interesting story... I like knowing the life of Okita, before Hajime & Tokio. Okita's awesome. Are they really brothers?

A nice story and a lovely Soujiro characterization.

I have yet to see an Okita-in-Meiji story - until this one appears, anyway! Interesting...I have always thought that maybe Soujiro is the illegitimate son of our Okita-chan it never once crossed my mind that they may be brothers. And nice reference to PMK's kawaii Okita!

I accidentally read in someone's review reply that SHISHIO IS GOING TO SHOW UP? Why? How? And consider Saitou's response when he meets his long-dead comrade...

Why hasn't Kenshin noticed that Soujirou looks one hell of a lot like a certain Shinsengumi captain?
