P.S. You realize, in your bio, you write off pairings (i.e. Lily/not James) by saying it wasn't meant to happen because we all know that Lily and James got married. But then you harp on about how Alanna/George shouldn't be written when it's the same thing as Lily/James. I mean, I wasn't all that excited when Jon got ditched in the books, but if your views are actually consistant and have true basis, then you can't diss Alanna/George. Pierce knows the characters best- they're hers and everyone needs to understand that she is the wisest person when it comes to their character and romance. She can't screw up, basically. It's cool if you like Alanna/Jon (I do too), it's fanfiction and that's the entire point. It's just not polite to use canon arguements for Harry Potter and then throw them out the window for certain pairings. I get personal preference but you shouldn't try and argue /against/ pairings, especially without cnosistancy. Like I get slightly grossed out by Harry/Hermione, but I've read a few good fics with that pairing. Writing is what makes the pair to me. The writer can make it work. (But I'm a total R/H.) Feh. Anyways, just wanted to say that. And I seriously like this story and this is not a personal attack or a flame. It's just some perspective from an innocent bio-reader. We actually like a lot of the same stories. =)
