I liked this it was different. In a great way.

This was perfection. I loved Spike talking to himself and his little inside comments. I especially enjoyed the cake bit and how he said he wouldn't mind her taking all she wanted. So cute. I enjoy the moments when I can enjoy the little picture of Faye I have in my mind when she's quietly regretting and enjoying life instead of fighting and yelling at Spike. Thankyou for that small solace.

I found the part where Spike wanted to tell her where the cake was to be the most moving part of the fic. That situation and his thoughts there just touched me. Wonderfully worded.
I hope you write more CB fic in the future, especially with these two characters.
