I've recently come to appreciate the absolute brilliance of the relationship between Faramir and Boromir, and this is one of the best brother-fics I've read. The characterizations are almost spot-on, the insights of their thoughts are well-thought out, the plot is engaging and fast-paced and the style of writing is beautiful. I'm beginning to itch for more of this great story.

Fantastic work!

This is amazing! I've never read anything like it. For a moment there I thought that Faramir had killed Frodo and Sam!!

Very well written. Keep up the good work

Oh. My. God! I cannot say how much I admire you for this story, and this chapter was simply perfection itself. Not one error, perfect pace, fine grammer and puncuation to die for, characterization to kill for, story arc so precise as to boggle the mind! Improve this? *HOW?* You are so going to get a Remember Me award for this! Thank you so very much!

On a personal note, I got a beta reader for The Bee Charmer at last, so I'm doing a rewrite and adding scenes.

My heavens, please, write more, quick!

hugs -n- love,

Pretty. No time to read all of it at the moment, but I'll be back.

Typos:

"...his brothers dream."

Possessive: "brother's."

"...his fathers mind..."

Possessive: "father's."

"...them?He..."

It swallowed your space, I think.

"...until Iluvitar gathers..."

"Ilúvatar."

"...my sister Nenia..."

"Nienna."

"...lady of Sorrow..."

I would capitalize either both or none.

Excellent brother work, beautiful landscape painting. I'm so glad you updated...
You weave back and forth through time, space and realities - yet I'm not confused. Misled, at times, but never confused when it's laid out. Well done. Looking forward to more - thanks - Miran

Whoa! Indeed a cliffhanger... (and hard for this Faramir lover to take). I look forward to seeing what just happened... and I continue to enjoy your style.
I was reading this morning, and thinking how difficult it would be for me to write this way, without real dialogue - yet you pull it off very skillfully. Descriptions are deft and delightfully sensory.
A humble request for more. thanks - Miran

Wow... I definitely wasn't expecting THAT to happen. I really hope it's just a dream or something!
I like your idea of retelling Faramir's story from Boromir's point of view- very interesting.

Again, your interpretation of the character's emotions are flawless: Frodo forgiving Boromir, Faramir's sorrow at learning Gandlaf has fallen. The way you manage to include this into the plotline along with the little details of the past are great. You have a gift for words.

I liked the way you weaved Boromir and Faramir's childhood's into their adult life. You have a deep understanding of the minds and motives of the characters and how they react during certain occasions.
