It was the bit about his wishing that he would wake up from the dream and find that she's not, in fact, dead. That really pulled on my heart strings, you know. IN a good way, of course. This is also painting a lovely (still dysfunctional) picture of their relationship. I can't wait to read the next one! |

Wes is missing her a great deal, not wanting to let her go, talking to her, listening to her talk to him... this is all very reminiscent of rather deep feelings on his part. Yay! (Reminds me of Vaughn on Alias, sigh.) I haven't heard 'Hello' but its lyrics seem to go with the theme. Nice work |

But I do remember that some of the Wes/Lilah relationship was good. I pity Lilah because she had been warped by her past, which sent her to Wolfram & Hart. Maybe in another time, another place, she's good and happy. Until then, poor Wes just has had too much to bear. |
