This story was really cute, it does make an interesting point about James. Even if you don't agree that Sirius and/or Remus are gay (I happen to think so), James made some pretty interesting friend choices- a werewolf, a person thrown out of his family, and Peter, who is his own story.

This is really great! I really like the way that you portray James' dad.

That's it?? That's the end?? But... but... but... *cries* that had the makings of an AMAZING story! Couldn't you extend it? To say, just the end of the summer, even? or heck, all school year? I would absolutely LOVE you for it. You have a great writing style--very unique. You portray both the Mauraders AND James' parents very well. Most plots only develop good characterization for James and Sirius OR his parents. And throwing in Remus' 'furry little problem' at the end was genius... I just wish I knew more. Sorry, I know this story is a bit old, but could you ressurect it for a desperate fan? or possibly develop a sequel?? I'd be your best friend... *bats eyelashes*

Wow. This was amazingly written. I loved how it was through Henry's POV--very unique idea. It was also nice how they dealt with Sirius and Remus's issues the way they did. I liked how Henry was a bit off-set about Sirius being gay, but wasn't revolted about it, and how they handled Remus being a werewolf so well. I love how they thought of Sirius as their son. Just really, really well written. It was absolutely fantastic.

Oh darn, I wanted to see what happened when he gave James and Sirius The Talk. Well, it was still a great story!

"Unfortunately, their second child had never arrived. Or, perhaps he had. Just a few years later than they’d expected him." That's so sweet how they think of Sirius! I like how realistic James' parents' reactions to Sirius' secret were. There are lots of fics about when Sirius runs away to James' house, but I've never seen one from a parent's perspective, so I give you massive points for originality.
