Different than the other chapters. It shook me up a little. Your Teal'c is true to the character. It has always bothered me that so many people write Teal'c as a "bodyguard" but not as the "First Prime".

Okay, I had to go and look up all those words. I do want you to know that my non-stargate co-worker is laughing herself silly concerning your beginning quotes

Wow. Intelligent, well written, and just da[]n good. You don't come across something with all three of those attributes every day here. The drama's done as well as the comedy, and... _wow_. I'd tip my hat if I wore a hat. Well, the sentiment's still the same. :)

This stuff is just fantastic! I really like the little horoscopes at the top too. (Have you ever read Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimen? There is a moment like that in there) The tree/hand signals and the whole Capricorn: cell torment of captors chapter was hilarious. Love it, can't wait for an update! Thanks

KariAnn... remember some of Sam's mop-top hairdos? A pin or two will keep them under control for military situations. Seems fairly reasonable. ;) Actually, the question is 'why a lock-and-key system', since Goa'uld usually use push button or technological locks. (I have an answer, but I'm not sharing :P)

Hairpin? Okay after much thought I can't think of an alternative, but why would Sam have a hairpin? Just as part of her "just in case we get caught and need a hairpin to pick the lock" military gear?
