Interesting adjective construction there. It took me a few seconds to get the actual physical meaning of the phrase, like Sephiroth's eyes were metaphorically boring holes in Clouds' own and not just being plain boring. (Sure, call me slow all you want, but I'm reading the second chapter now, and apparently Seph's room is boring too. Gaia, is there anything about him that isn't boring?)

I like your style in this fic so far. A couple of times I got the feeling that a word could be taken away or a reaction less exaggerated, but you definitely know what you're doing. Sephiroth's characterization's alright, I think.

wow! this is certainly different to anything i've read so far... most fics where zack meets seph has zack being an annoying little beeyach that has the IQ of a 3 year old and won't shut up... very nice, i can't wait for the next chapter, even if it is two years since you last updated.
