So poignant and beautiful. You have a wonderful way with words. And no, it's not really a sad ending, even though it made me cry. I mean, Jack Sparrow had to go eventually, one way or another, and at least he went with the Pearl and became a legend. It's all very right. :D

Oh look, it's going to let me review again. At least, I think I've already reviewed this. Thought I had. But I wanted to say that of all the things you've written, this is my very most favorite. :)

Oh my God, that's beautiful, no really it is one of the saddest things I've read on this site. Sad as it is to see the end of Jack,sorry sorry-CAPTAIN Sparrow, it really was lovely with the little dream and the footprints, made me just go ah...thank you, I really enjoyed it.

Beautifully done. Hats off for a wonderful piece. I love that image of a ghostly Black Pearl forever just out of the Navy's reach.

I very much enjoyed reading this lovely vignette- very sweet and very sad. Your descriptions and characterizations are beautifully drawn. The inevitable strangers line is just wonderful.

Aw...this brought tears to my eyes! So bittersweet...although I can't abide the thought of Jack dying, this story does justice to him, and makes the inevitable seem somehow better.

This is marvelous. The tone is consistant and there are no jarring anachronisms, for which I thank you. (Way too much of that sort of thing out there...) The descriptions are excellant, the flashback unobtrusive, and the twist at the end is first rate! The part that really made me smile, though, was Jack saying, "They'll never catch me, now!"

That was beautiful. Very, very, very good. Brought a tear to my eye, too!

This was great. And no it didn't end badly. It was brilliant, with beautiful imagery and I loved it.

I hope you'll be bringing more PotC stuff out even if they are only vignettes.
