This story is absolutely adorable. I was so sad to see how long it's been since you've updated. I guess you've given this story up now, but I thought I'd review just the same.

Your Howl is brilliant (and yes, I do know that Diana Wynne Jones owns Wizard Howl, but you rather own Welsh Howl.) And Howl's parents are fantastic. The big surprise for me in this story, though, is Sophie. She's adapting so well, yet she's still maintaining her world's mindset.

“You’ve must have lived with them for some time and I can see that you survived just fine. Other than being hysterically vain and having a reputation as an eater of hearts.” - by far my favorite line!

I'm adding this fic to my alert list with the hope that perhaps there will be a random update sometime in the next ten years or so.

Everyone is completely and deliciously in character, it picked up smoothly from where the book ended, and I love your idea! I've always wondered what Howl's parents are like, considering what we know about him and his sister!! gotta love Malcolm too! lol
