great story, I love how you treated the delicate subject of Nick's past and Grissom's possible reaction to it. Not being a Grissom/Sara shipper (sorry, I just don't see this so-called chemistry people insist is there, I just see a girl with a crush on an older authority figure) can't say I agree with the final resolution but this is fanfiction isn't it? good job!

I loved your exploration of the Grissom-Nick dynamic, and I think you did an excellent job of explaining the "respect issue" that has certainly been at the heart of many problems between Sara and Grissom and Nick and Grissom. Your writing flows so beautifully, and you get into the characters' psyches so well. Terrific story.

Wow. Your writing was awe-inspiring to begin with, but it gets better with each story you write, and your last three have just blown me away. I haven't read many fics that really get into Nick's head and explore his character, so it was nice to see one. You did an amazing job of explaining who he is and why.
