LadyErinSnape 2006-03-31 . chapter 1Wow, brialliantly written and simply heartbreaking.
Poor Severus! Poor Albus! |
lilpeng1 2006-01-16 . chapter 1I always wondered what would happen if Dumbledore had to choose btwn Severus and Harry. You kind of knew something bad would happen. The way you wrote this story was great. I love the way you showed Dumbledore. it was very father son like emotions. I loved it. I didn't think it was morbid at all. Just very carefully written! |
Karaii 2005-11-30 . chapter 1Beautiful and so sad. So morbid ;_; Poor Sev'rus!
And poor Albus. I would've died attempting to choose...even with a life's worth of time to decide, I would never have an answer.
I cried but I loved the end. A sorely missed smirk indeed :D
Brilliant - I loved it. Keep it up! |
Bubblefang 2005-08-25 . chapter 1You actually made me cry and wail. Congratulations!
You should have rated this horror...it was beautiful. Simply and stunningly beautiful. This is going into my favorites. |
Laume 2005-08-07 . chapter 1Aw now this is totally unfair; you made me CRY!
NO ONE is allowed to make me CRY! *scowls*
I was glad though that I have a fairly strong stomach; my very vivid imagination had a bit of trouble with the body parts half of the story...
But its very well written. Congrats |
 BellonaBellatrix 2005-06-24 . chapter 1OMG!
Wow...startling...startling in the talent this is written with... |
 TheDeathChamber 2005-05-29 . chapter 1That was incredibly amazing. I can't even find words, awe-striking. |
Arbor Mist 2005-04-13 . chapter 1i'm crying, this is so sad...i loved it! |
hohlagh 2005-03-26 . chapter 1Somehow I knew that Severus Snape would die, but I wasn't prepared for it all the same. Severus is my second favourite character, particularly when authors (like yourself) protray him *and* Dumbledore well.
Your fanfic was definitely a tearjerker and the pieces of Severus sent to Albus throughout the story sent pains into my heart. Your skill for writing is done well and although I cried, I enjoyed this piece.
The words just flow through the page, it's like I'm there, watching the battles take place, observing Albus and Severus meeting in the after life. You really have a talent. One that is inspiring and admired. I wasn't going to review this at first (fearing that remembering it would make me cry again), but I felt as though I needed to applaud you.
So Congratulations and I look forward to reading more of your works. |
Athena Keating-Thomas 2005-03-24 . chapter 1Quite a touching example of your writing. I confess to being a little surprised that Albus didn't try searching for Snape before the final battle when he knew he was still alive. |
MoonlightMarauder 2005-02-09 . chapter 1This story is just so beautiful and sad.
The description of his anguish and guilt, of the endless search he has to go through is just wonderfully written, and has left me in tears. This is definitely one of the most beautiful stories I've read in a long time. |
Mistress Siana 2005-02-02 . chapter 1Hm...can you say that something makes you want to throw up and mean it as a compliment? Because a story portraying a war has to make you sick, anything else is euphimism. Your story is so very disturbing, strong, brilliant, so...real that I'm truly at a loss for words. Thank you for this outstanding portrait of Dumbledore, the guilt that comes with his choices, even (or rather especially) the use of Cruciatus. Added to favourites.
*Siana* |
anon 2004-12-14 . chapter 1 This was horrible!
how could you DO that!
This fic was well written, no typos (that i could see) and you handled a delicate subject manner perfectly!
You made me cry! |
jazzypom 2004-10-30 . chapter 1 Oh. My. God.
What can I say? The story broke me. It just broke me.
The fact that Severus (see, this story makes me call him severus? I normally refer to him as Snape) actually wanted to believe in Draco, in the fact that he could have passed on a kindness that was given to him by Dumbledore.
And this is what happens in the end.
Then, the crippling grief and guilt that Dumbledore felt, as he needed to sacrifice one man for the fate of thousands.
Oh, the words are sharp and sparse, the violence just enough to shatter but done just enough.
Oh. You've made me cry now.
Oh!
I don't even like Snape. |
