Nice little poem! I hate early band camp days. You sleep in all summer till 12 and then, agh, morning at 8 in the parking lot doing basics. Sun's in your face as they go around correcting the freshman's attention positions. Oy, not all that much fun. Though, hopefully, I'll be standing on the sidelines this year. Drum Major try-outs coming up soon, know?
