I am a devote Shinji/Asuka fan and this fic is one of the few S/Rs I can actully read without somepart of my brain screaming "INCEST!". Now I just have one favor to ask you as a fan of this amazing work... finish it. Please!! We've all been waiting so long and would really like to see this finished! Warriorsong 2003-03-13 ch 5,	abuseOriginal, irreverent and downright funny. So Rei (and Shinji, somewhat less) is / are out of character - big deal; the laughs more than make up for the character deviations. Continuity and logic takes a back seat most of the time and really it doesn't matter. The story flows along gently, dragging the reader with it, albeit sometimes, totally unwilling. Even the inserted author comments, which I usually frown upon, add to the tone. My only qualm is that the descriptive text is largely lacking or brushed over, what with describing scenes and such. Apart from that, no problems, grammar and spelling is fine, and I quite enjoy the odd Pratchettism thrown in. But the "curry" sequence was so blunt, I had to groan. Death and Gendo aren't really comparative entities.
Tally 2002-12-20 ch 1, anon.	abuseWow. Finding a good humour fic is hard enough, but finding a well-written, amusing Eva fic almost seems a miracle. The Pratchett influenece is very clear throughout what I've read, but I can't say that's a bad thing. Also, congrats on not turning it into a lemon! ^^; There's something very wrong about Eva lemons in general, and the idea of a Rei x Shinji lemon.... O.O;;; Well, I'm generally not a fan of the coupling, but I can just about tolerate it in this fic. ^^ I'd like to see some addition to this, although be careful not to drag it out. Enough of my rambling. ^_^;;;
