I think you're underestimating the severity of the mindwipe though.

As far as Misato, one of her flaws in NGE is that she doesn't give a damn about Asuka. When you think about it she treats her quite terrible especially after the mind rape.

Nice, I don't really know what to say, but, it just felt...Good. You know? Like it pushed all the right buttons and hit all the right nails, but I can't tell how it was good. It just sort of...was.

Yeah, good choice not to have them be mushy yet. I think that this is more meaningful than a lot of kissing scenes I've read are.

Phew. That was excellent, as always. The only grammatical errors I could find were a few misplacements of "italics," but only toward the beginning of this fic.

Great job with character capturing again, and, like you said, I'm glad you didn't rush anything between Asuka and Shinji.

Again good construction; only some minor polishing needed. No OOC problems here, granting that Shinji can really change so quickly. I especially like your treatment of Misato as a serious character... in some ways, she's shortchanged by NGE itself. The character interactions were overly dramatic at times, but in general I wish I could write so well.

I've read this trilogy at least half a dozen times, and I still love it. When's that 4th part coming out? Now that graduation is over, how about using that extra free time to delve into the Shinji-Asuka-Misato relationship? Most fanfics don't really explore the interactions between them (usually, they just portray Misato as a drunk).
