If my memory doesn’t fail me I was very touched by this story when I read it the first time and it still does touch me when I read it again. A tragic end to a romance, a subject for writing that is hard to do but you have succeeded very well.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to try to tell a child that one of the parents aren’t coming back…

( *Sniffle* It's so sad when Professor Trelawney's predictions for Harry's death have to come true years after the first, when...not that we want that, but still. ) Nicely written, and good insight on Hermione's feelings. One question: Why would Harry's son ask where his father is when he's lying right in front of him? Wouldn't he be asking when he'll wake up instead? Oh, well, does it really matter? ) "Believe in the sign of Zeta!"
