Not a bad idea, since at that age Joey could well be careless (I didn't get the impression he was active quite that young, but never mind), and well handled. I'm a bit surprised Maria's parents didn't make her give up Mia for adoption, as happened only too often, but never mind ... it's your story. I shall be interested to see what you do with it.
