This is a most lovely story--the action is perfect as are the voices of the beloveds. Thank you so much for the effort here and thank you for sharing. Sounds just like my Jack, Lizzie and Will. You played em all nice too, Will a man not a milktoast, Jack a real pirate amd Elisabeth her very own self. Good on you missy--lovely story.

What an excellent, excellent pirates story !! one of the best i've read so far

Truly amazing story you have written there. Why isn't Dead Man's Chest that good? Really, this one would have made a great sequel to TCotBP. Great work!

There are very few stories that are as well written and as "in character."

You knowledge of the ships and its working was refreshing as it was impressing.

For some reason I really loved Jack's little moment with Will, Elizabeth, Ana, and Gibbs behind him at the helm. It was subtle but very sweet.

I don't think Will was ever a "pansy" and you captured him, Jack, Norrington, ...and especially Elizabeth perfectly! The way you showed how Norrington would've been wrong for Elizabeth, is brilliant.

If there's ever a sequel, you can sign me up as a definite fan of your stories. :)

Wow. That was a truely amazing story. I'm completely amazed at your knowledge of ships, I hadn't a clue what they were saying most of the time :P I loved the suspense you created and how true you kept to the characters, especially Jack, I also liked the slight change to Will's character, he's much more fun when he's not a total pansy, lol. I particularly liked the scandel bit about Elizabeth, it added a lot more edge to her character. Well done, this was a truely enjoyable read.

this is a wounderful story. i enjoyed it so much. especialy the part that said "For a few moments Jack had been at the helm of his beloved ship and surrounded by his favorite people." i really liked the way you portrayed Jack. i'd like to see a sequel to this with Will and Elizabeth on the Black Pearl if you ever decide to write one. thanx for writing!

"I am a pirate. Aboard a pirate ship. You forget your place, Commodore." --Oh goody, he's out-growing his boyscout phase!

Elizabeth saw AnaMaria slap her forehead. "Sell!" she said. "Sell the lumber!"
--Right. And never buy what you can steal. (I'm taking notes.)

"You had rum?" That is *so* Jack! Love it! But should Elizabeth be drinking in her delicate condition? Good think she only had a tiny sip...

The plot thickens! I have some sneaking suspicious about motives...so glad it's complete and I don't *have* to wait to find out!

What fun, Elizabeth's off on an adventure with Jack, all by her onesies. I like that you mentioned what a scandal her captivity caused; it would have! And yes, the idea of her having learned to cook as the governor's daughter is unthinkable, so now she's got her work cut out for her. I'm surprised Jack--who will obviously eat anything, if he'll devour Elizabeth's cooking--didn't find himself some fruit in the jungle...although I'm sure he was trying to lie low, and I *don't* exactly see him as the woodsman type.
