Absolutely lovely. Very well written and summed up. I look forward to if you thought to continue in other shorts as well. But that's just a suggestion as this requires almost no other additions but such lovely pieces are always appreciated.

Aw, it's so sad... *crying* Poor Yuusuke-sama...

Jesus, talk about a knife to the heart! This was so painful to read, but still beautifully written. So many people are unwilling to go there with this issue in Yuusuke and Keiko's relationship, and I have to admit, it's hard for me to read as well, because I love the pair so much and it's hard for me to think of this happening to them, even if it is the natural order of things.

Anyway, this was excellent. Amazing work.

Y'know, a while ago (which could mean anything from a few weeks to a few years) I got bored and sat down and thought about immortality and came to one conclusion: it sucks. If I had a choice to live forever or die tommorrow, I'd choose the latter.

Anyway, nice story.

It's hard to breathe after reading something as true (and depressing) as that. For all of his demon strength, I don't think Yusuke would hesitate to trade it in for another shot at a human life. Would he?

Why did you have to go and make a very sad one-shot that almost made me cry? I hate it when I read one and I just can't stop reading it until its finished and ends up in my dreams. oh well. It just goes to show how bad it can get when you really are immortal. sad though, huh.

Best oneshot yet. Perhaps you would have a brief sequel for when Yuusuke comes back? Just a question. I liked it. Just slightly melanchololy when you think of how "Golden Time" of the Rekai Tantei in that story is over. Although I'm glad that they can't grow old and die (not for a very long time anyways). Keep writing.

Oh wow...that's so sad. It's extraordinarily well-written, I must say. You've impressed me yet again. lol. I think this may be one of my favorite one-shots ever...Perhaps because I've never been a fan of Yuusuke with Keiko. Personally, I don't think they fit well. They're too different, and plus, it would only end up like this. Now, I know that's an extremly short-sighted opinion, and that may not even be close to the message you were trying to convey, but that's how I see it. I really think Yuusuke and Keikoe would grow apart over time- Yuusuke being so constantly busy and in danger. Not to mention the constant threat of demons attacking Keiko to get at Yuusuke. Anyways, I really liked it. Write more soon. ^_^
