My whole town is obsessed with Walt Whitman (I live about three minutes away from his birthplace, and am currently sitting about a quarter of a mile from a road called "Walt Whitman Road") but it is very conservative. I doubt they know about the poem. I didn't. When I saw it, I ran for my copy of 'Leaves of Grass' before realizing you had all the words here... Good poem. Good use of english literature to address problems.

I also liked the small additions of Paige, Tom, and especially Jay, since we didn't know he existed until Gangsta Gangsta. Can't wait to see what happens next...

It's seriously cool and I'm glad you finally updated. I really like the Walt Whitman thing. I love the little things like that because sometimes, and I know this sounds awful, it won't make sense to someone now but in like, a year or so when they finally read about him themselves, they'll understand just what you meant and why you inserted his work in here. It's totally great and forgive me if you didn't understand my blabber. Another thing... Jay Hobart? Is that really his name?! ::snickers:: I didn't know.
