I love this pairing so much and just jump with joy everytime I see a rare fic about them. This was so endearing and I loved the emotion and plot which was very good for a one-shot. The part about Draco was so depressing and I loved the end where all of Ron's family and friends gave their consent and then Ron and Sev made love. But it wasn't rough or dirty either although it was beautifully written. Something was so precious about this. Great job, you're stories are some of my favorites on here!

Wow. This is amazing. Your balance of angst and tenderness is impeccable as is your character development. At first I thought that this was a total OOC story, until you revealed their histories. That redemption of past relationships was absolutely beautiful. Keep up the good work!

This is like reading Evelyn Waugh in many ways- there's sorrow at the wearying effect life changes one, fierce pleasure in freedom when offered, dialogue that strikes the perfect note between levity and gravity, and delightfully absurd names for childhood trappings. I found myself increasingly impressed with the way you made Severus and Ron earn one another. This is absolutely superb. Well done!

Your story is wonderful. You took an unlikely pairing and showed me how it could work. I admitt to being very fond of a Ron who has a job other than auror. I had never read Ron as a healer before, again you made it easy to beleive. Thank you!

oh. wow. I read this when it first came out, and i forgot about it, but here i have found it once more, and enjoyed again.

Oh, shame on me! I've read this already three or four times but didn't leave a review yet - inexcusable, really. I hope you do, though ;o).

My first idea was a kind of unbelieving suprise - Snape and Ron? How could this go together? And then, a little into the story: Ron, a healer? Being PATIENT? What the heck? But then - as your tale so beautifully enfolds, it became really clear: the way you show us these characters, it is very plausible that they react and behave in this way, and it becomes really realistic, how things go between the both of them. All in all, this story is a truly entertaining and thoughtful reading which gave me much fun already and will certainly continue doing so. Thank you!

That was...strange but wonderful. I loved the duck bit. Nice touch.

So, the idea of Ron and Severus sounded wrong to me at first, but I've read pretty much every other slash pairing and figured I should give it a try. Well, this story convinced me. It was well written, sweet, thought provoking, and hot. Keep up the good work!
