kid-o 4/15/06 . chapter 5 Sev should really let Mur into his head a bit. He's gonna lose her if he doesn't let go a bit... |
June 12/20/04 . chapter 12 Sigh ... so Severus' decision to use Occlumency and hide his feelings from her has now backfired on him, driving her to Sirius. Double-sigh...very sad. |
Weatherwax 6/28/04 . chapter 12Great stuff, i very much liked the emotional progression of Mur, Snape and Sirius, quite the budding love traingle. |
Rachel Nacilla 6/21/04 . chapter 12 The review feature on FF.net is not working for me for some odd reason. I left a nice lengthy review for you for your story 'Growing Apart' but it did not register. I'm peeved about it - then I remembered why I gave up on FF.net. But anyway I finished reading 'Growing Apart' and this is what I have to say:
I actually felt a sense of remorse for the fact that Muriel and Severus were 'growing apart'. I actually felt rather sad that their relationship was slowly disintergrating into nothingness. Now I see that everything connects with what we see in the Harry Potter books. We see why Snape is so vindictive now - he lost his best friend. And the budding relationship between Muriel and Sirius is extremely cute. I live in hope that something would develop out of it. I'm getting REALLY into this story. Now I've got to read parts 6 and 7.
I do apologise for my lack of reviewing. I've been so busy juggling university, a part time job (one of which I don't get many hours for) and trying to write 'The Plague of the Moonflower' (so far unsuccessful. It took me six months to write two whole paragraphs of the first chapter) so once again I do apologise. I'm still interested so don't you go taking me off that list just yet LOL. |
Zmedlebum 6/18/04 . chapter 12*looks around* It's been a while since I visited Muriel's turf. I do apologise I have been extremely busy. NOw that I'm free for four whole weeks i have more time to myself. Thanks for the email.
Now *ahem* I actually felt a little sad how Muriel and Severus's relationship is slowly disintergrating. They were so adorable together. Now we see where Snape in the Potter series is getting his cynicism from now.
I'll say it once again: Muriel is a great character.
Now, what about this budding relationship with Sirius, hm?
Great job, as always. However, I'm surprised to see that the chapters are relatively short this time around. |
alenchic 6/11/04 . chapter 12 This was a lot of fun! There's probably a prequel, or so it looks, but I think I'll go looking for it after I read the sequel. Great story! |
Nadreth 4/30/04 . chapter 12Amazing can't wait to read if Mur finds Severus's Dark Mark or if he has one yet or...well yah Im just wondering what well happen next this is such a good story! |
Nadreth 4/30/04 . chapter 2This Chapter is Asom! I'll be reading the next chapter now! Your so good at writing! |
Daintress 4/26/04 . chapter 12Finally a decent description of Muriel's abilities. You can see that this would have been more appropriate as the third chapter of a fic that began with Lily stomping away from the scene in the pensieve. Anyway, I hope that makes up for any confusion earlier in my saga. Thanks again so much for the reviews - nearly 100 on this fic alone! I feel blessed by your generosity. |
Daintress 4/26/04 . chapter 11Short but necessary. Besides, you can blame it on the marauders. Who knows what could have been said if they hadn't shown up? Brandy |
Daintress 4/26/04 . chapter 10I'd actually begun writing with this story. My entire saga began here, because I just didn't think it was fair, basically four against one. So Mur appeared in my head. Now she's my alter-ego and I can't get rid of her. Maybe I'll just marry her off. Who do you think I should stick her with? Brandy |
Daintress 4/26/04 . chapter 9Hope you remember the pensieve memory. I didn't want to rewrite the scene. It's quite memorable, though, so I'm sure even if you can't recall the words, you must remember that by the time Lily gave up, Sev was upside down again. That's all that you need to recall for the purposes of this fic. (Severus would prefer you forget the rest anyway.) Brandy |
Daintress 4/26/04 . chapter 8You'll have to assume that Lily doesn't know HOW Mur kept James from showing up. She would never have approved of it, and, knowing this, Muriel would never have told her. As to how easily Remus forgave, remember it's been over a month. AND Sirius is one of the only people who really knows him. He was looking for a reason to forgive before the next full moon anyway. Brandy |
Daintress 4/26/04 . chapter 7I think Lily would have figured it out by now. She seemed clever enough, and perceptive enough to have done so. Brandy |
Daintress 4/26/04 . chapter 6Here it is, I had to get to it eventually. I hope you'll accept that Sirius didn't send him there maliciously with the purpose of killing him. So many people seem to think he did. I think it was just foolishness in a moment of weakness.
This is where Severus begins to truly hate the marauders. He already disliked Remus because Mur seemed to like him so well. He already disliked James because James disliked him due to his interest in dark arts. Now he utterly despises Sirius because he thinks he tried to kill him. My goal is to make you believe that he really went from the nine year old who kept Mur's mother from torturing her to the crazed man who nearly handed Sirius to the dementors. Am I getting there?
