Wow, this is a really interesting idea. I love Wakka, and while I'm a big Wakka/Rikku fan, I think with this setup, Wakka/OC would be a very cool pairing indeed. I like the idea of Wakka silently accepting his Seer-girlfriend's stoning to death because the church declared it and then coming back after the pilgrimage and realizing, wow, they were wrong in the first place. It's a darker take on Wakka than what I usually like to see, but so intriguing. You do need to watch your grammar, though. (I can beta for you for that if you'd like). And just be careful to make your OC a well-rounded character; Main Character/OC romances always have a risk of turning into Mary Sues.
