all i can say is holy crepe, you write amazingly. mort is so in character and that is very had to do when said character has certain issues. i love it how he can only remember certain stuff and he's all paranoid.
then again, maybe if i'd killed my dog, ex, ex's new guy, and various other people with various tools and garden implements, maybe i'd be a bit parnoid too. ::looks around suspiciously and clutches shovel::
keep at this one, its awesome. and i cant wait to read the next chapter of sands through the hourglass!

there is something about this movie that makes you want to write, isn't there? i saw it and immediately wrote a ficlet once i got home. hurrah! i was not aware secret window had its own section already. well, now to read...
"He honestly didn’t remember writing some of his best works, for nothing good came out of his mind… but when his mind was off… that was when his real creativity would come. Where it came from, he’d never know." that is mad insightful, girl. johnny does insane so well but his characters are insane in such a delicate way.. they really have to be analyzed because secret window is a movie you really have to think about. so go you! for working his mental condition into his writing here! yay!

Not only I enjoyed the secpnd chapter even more than the first, but I think I loved it even better. Wonderful writing style and detail! You've really got the whole feel of the movie in there, also. VERY entertaining. I wish i had read the first chapter in time to review to that too, but this is only my second Secret Window fanfiction to read, I just started today. Secret Window, how I loved that movie, yet at the same time, hated it. It's kinda hard to explain, I'm not sure if anyone feels exatly the same about it as I do. *shrugs*
