That was really good...Though those words don't really describe it well enough...It sounds like it really is Eschonbach thinking. At least, it does to me. And it shows the two sides of his personality well.

I'm practically speachless ^_^. This is one of the coolest short fics I have EVER seen in the Gundam section. If listening to Goo Goo Dolls makes you do THAT, I'll mail you a twelve disk set. ^_^

Wow...don't visit FF.net for a week and a fic like this turns up...I'm tempted to see what will happen if I skip out for a month...
Joking aside though...wow, this is...dammit...can't think of just one word to sum it up...
Suffice to say, depressing is definitely up there. Up until this point, I'd always seen Eschonbach as being pretty uncaring. This perspective definitely fits the man however, on one hand, you see the same man who slapped his own daughter for trying to go after a man he viewed as being one of the worst people out there, but on the other, there's still love for her even after she's gone.
More to the point, looked at this way, he doesn't seem entirely unreasonable. Granted his methods weren't exactly acceptable, but he did appear to mean well.
Overall...two thoughts:
1. Excellent job
2. ...*goes to dig up some happy music to snap out of this*

I can't really say weither it was wrong or not. I guess if anyone is really to blame for this happening the way it it would be Char.
I can't argue aginst it or for it, espically after seeing how things turned out for Shiro and Aina in the 08th MS team.
