You just turned my favourite pairing to Isaac/Alex. If you think about it... it could work out. I mean, holy crap, I barely notice d how much they had in common. I wish I didn't know this was Isaac/Alex from the start... man, imagine my reaction if I thought it was Isaac/Mia. :[

I couldn't stop laughing when I got to the end of this. XD I should have recognized the hints, but - man, that was just too funny of a plot twist!

I really enjoyed seeing how you got the characters to interact. They have that teen attitude going on, and the banter between friends Garet and Isaac really feels natural. Plus, I love the description of how Jenna and Garet got together:

“Her Highness the Pyro decided to step down from her pedestal and acknowledge your lowly self.”

This is a good fic, but one suggestion...you should continue with this! I'm eager to know Mia's reaction when she receives Isaac's letter!:)

Dear heavens, I love you. Do you know how LONG I've been trying to find an AlexxIssac pairing? For about two years! And you made one. A very sweet one too. Poor Issac. Not being able to show his feelings or anything to Alex. I do hope you do somethng Alex's point of view. Though that's probably going to be one hard cookie.

This makes me want to write a story. I do hope you make another one. Lovely style of writing by the way. I'm favoriting this, of course!

that was really well-written! Honestly, I really would have been fooled... if I hadn't found this fic in the shounen-ai C2. That was the givaway. But really, you did that really well!

OMG, LOL. Alex is such a beautiful bastard. Too bad he died, though. Ignore the flamers. And if they say they got tricked, well, whatever. You DID say Mudshipping, and that isn't entirely a lie, right? Just because people consider IsaacMia as THE Mudshipping couple doesn't mean that it's really restricted to them. (On a side note, FelixPicard is Warped Mudshipping, but it's still mudshipping nonetheless). Some people are TOO touchy, though.

Seeing as I found out about this through a C2 update email, it sort of spoiled the surprise over who Isaac was talking about. Of course, for the first few moments when I was reading the summary I was wondering what the heck a story like this was doing in a Shounen Ai C2, what with the mercury adept thing and all. Then it hit me. So I had to read it, of course. Contrary to what you may think, I thought that this did have an actual plot, and I can see all the characters so vividly acting out what happens. What I'm wondering is where Alex is during all of this. Because if this is post-TLA, either our intrepid heroes have somehow rescued Alex, Alex has rescued himself (manly man that he is), or Isaac is being quite literal in saying "don't die on me". Anyways, I really enjoyed reading this, and I hope to see more by you in the future!

Oh, dear Selene this was amazing! And to think that I almost didn't click on it. Man, am I happy that I listened to that little voice of doubt in the back of my mind. After all the summary said 'a certain Imilian Mercury Adept' not Mia. Not that I have anything against Mudshipping, there's just a lot of them, and I just love rare pairings; shonen ai, het, shojo ai, doesn't matter as long it's rare(of course if it's dark and angsty that's a major plus.)

Anyway, you really had me wondering. When you were discribing the dream, something in it had me pretty sure it was Alex. :shurgs: No clue what though. But then the scene with Garet and it was all like 'Damn! :sigh: Oh, well, it's really good writting so I'll finish reading.' Of course you had me confused with Isaac's conversation with Mia. And Isaac's letter- Mwhahahaha -, oh Isaac's letter. The fourth paragraph had me jumping in my seat saying 'Maybe, maybe.' And the sixth, "I never expected to fall in love, never mind so suddenly and strongly. But I can’t unlove you now...not that I want to, even though I know I can’t have you." in particular made me go 'Am I right? Could it really be?' And then with the "Gods, Alex...don’t die on me, you beautiful jerk." I was jumping in joy and squealing.

So well, I loved it. it was turely a work of art. Especially when you reread it and see all the little clues that were pretty much invisible before. Thank you for this wonderful piece, it really made my day.
