Hey, I normally wouldn't go anywhere near a GSR, especially an angsty GSR fic (myself being a Sandle shipper!) But me and a friend have this thing going where we swap stories (She has to read Supernatural fanfics in turn)
Anyway, this was amazingly written that I forgot all about it being a GSR. It became heart wrenching snippets from a womans life who can't let go of her love. (Although I did try very hard to see some Sandle sparks when Greg told her to go home ^_^ )
I'm not a GSR convert, but if everyone wrote like this then I would definitely read them, heck, I'd read every pairing available! (Including GregXEcklie (Sick, I know))

I just wanted to say, that even not knowing the characters very well, I thought this was beautiful. Well done, very vivid and bittersweet. Loved it.

Just wanted to say that there are a lot of really corny, cliched 'death' fics out there.

Somehow, having the story written backwards like this makes it seem sadder . . . and the parts in italics where Sara keeps seeing Grissom as she wanders around the country (because she couldn't stay in Las Vegas now he's gone?) added to the angst of the story--poor Sara. Normally I don't like character-death stories, but this one was full of emotion and beautifully written.

Wow. Simply wow. This is by far and away the best "death" fic I have read. I found it to be more intriguing than a tear jerker, but in this case that is better. It was short, but oh such a wonderful journey.

This is really, really haunting. I read it several times to get the timeline and each time I continued to appreciate the beauty of your words even more. Nice style--it definitely fits the disjointed, fractured life (and maybe even her seeming descent into madness?) that Sara is facing now. Gut wrenchingly powerful.

God... that was... eerily beautiful. I love how the words flowed, conveying that feeling of an itch that needs scratching but you can't find it.
She can never really let him go, can she? He'll always be with her. I really like how you did that. The format is just so haphazardly perfect for this type of story.
I got these tiny subtle goosebumps, not ther but I can feel them.

I love this. The the dark beauty of the scenes, the non-linear timeline, god, just the whole concept which was a brilliant mix of angst and surrealism. I wish I could be more coherent or verbose about it but I can only say: Kudos! This was perfect.
