Ugh, I'm so sleepy I can't think anything wise to say (it's almost midnight), but... I really liked this story. Actually I have never read Lupin I, so I can't comment on the characters. Still the way you write is nice and pleasant to read. I really appreciate that there's a lot of conversations, because they make the story easier to follow (yes, English isn't my mother tongue) and still push the story forward. I will absolutely read the sequence. And one question: Is Goemon's "They'll be fine-ish" from the original manga/anime? It sounds like it would be...

It was a okay chapter. Didn't make me jump out of my chair in delight or anything, but it was alright. Arista's such a **, if I'm not being so...well direct. In some places it seemed rushed but I know how much you were having trouble with the episode. Oh well...like I said it was still good. Well I gotta go now. Looking forward to the sequel.

Nice Chapter. I few times, you switched to almost 1st person perspective, but you can fix that by changing a few words. Nice scene with Zenigata and his daughter... Very cute...

I don't like most fics like this, but it's so super sweet and sappy, I just love it...

Now that's a shock because I thought she hated him and why does Lupin have to ruin the best moments of Alex and Jigen's romance...hm? Great chapter, love this story so much. Alex and Jigen are in love...wow...Amber slapping Arista, and Pops on Ice skates, could this chapter be even more fun? Well I suppose it could be...but yeah...all in all I love this story and I can't wait for the sequel

Yay! another chapter! I've been reading but I've just only had time to read it and then run off to class. Quality work as usual. I'm happy you paired Zenigata up with Lorraine! Everyone gets someone! Hi! I know this review's coming a tad late (sorry) but I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't really seem like you're stretching it out at all.
First off, I might as well get this out of the way:

I know that she was probably a good lady once, but that's the past--She's borderline demonic, now. I'm glad Amber gave her what she deserved.
Jigen seems a little nervous about progressing his relationship with Alex, but I'm sure it'll work, even though they've known one another only a short period of time.
And, as a last note--Zenigata ice skating is priceless.

I love it!!But it did have an abrupt ending...maybe you could round it off with a little more of their relationships and then possibly marraige or breaking up.

Chapters were to damn for one thing. And it wasn't literate at all.

Awesome story so far, I'm so happy Jigen finally got a girl. Alex is an awesome character, with a strong personality that's compatible to Jigen's- As strong as Lorraine's. Zenigata's partner must be extremely patient to be able to deal with the ranting of 'Ape in a Trenchcoat', as you put it.
I feel bad for Lupin, it has to be tough on him--He thought Fujiko loved him, but it wasn't so. And wait until he finds out who his competition is... Yeesh...
But I don't feel as sorry for him as I do for Fujiko, which is new for me. Poor girl, she's pretty confused on what to do. I applaud you for venturing to go in a different direction with Lupin pairings by making it a Fujiko/Goemon based tale, something that is not seen very often. You show a softer side to Fujiko, who is sometimes seen as being rather shrewd--She's quite likable here.
I hope that she and Goemon will be able to work things out, and that Alex and Jigen will keep going strong (By the way, I love the name you gave him, 'Antori').
Here's also hoping that maybe Lupin won't kill Goemon when he figures it out, and that he can find someone, too.
Great story, overall- I can't wait for the next chapter! Please update soon.
