ah, no, you simply must update! This is one of the best Founders-fic I've read. The dialogue and, well, everything, is so perfect for medieval Europe. I love it.

This is one of the stories that sticks with you after you read it, even after what must have been a year with no update. It's so amazingly original and doesn't fall into any pattern that I've seen before. I don't have time to read much fanfiction anymore, but when I saw that your story had been updated, I just couldn't resist--I love it too much. You're a very adept, confident, and professional writer...and you MUST continue!

It's sweet how the students of this time are so similar in some ways to those of the canon time period, and it's interesting to think about places I've actually been to existing that long ago (I've walked along the city walls in Exeter, and its amazing how Stonehenge must have seemed ancient even then). All the details are great! I suppose that most be one of the benefits of writing founderfic, being able to include stuff like that without worrying about it being contradicted...
The Kneazles are funny, they remind me of my cats, especially trying to bribe them with food to make them come in late at night :-)

Very interesting. Lovely touches, nicely tied into the other issues of the era such as illiteracy. The founders are not entirely what I expected given the stereotypes associated with their present day houses, but it still all makes sense...

I've never read any founderic at all before and as such have no assumptions about that era. I'm quite happy to accept this view of things though. The characterisation is great, it must have been difficult given how little we know of the founders from canon but it really made me smile. What made you decide to write something in this era?
