under-raindrops 2009-04-17 . chapter 1Just wanted to say that you creeped the HELL out of me with this oneshot; and I loved it. I agree with one of the other reviewers - the most disturbing love story I've ever read. Keep up the good work! |
yumiboo 2009-01-26 . chapter 1oh wow... this was creepy. But I liked it.
I loved the declarations of love throughout the beginning part, and the ending was great because it all tied in together. |
Jcarlton 2008-10-24 . chapter 1It finally happened, Stanley. You’ve lost your mind!
For a while, as I’m reading this story at the beginning, I was thinking of Lily Allen’s music video where she’s walking down city streets and sees her environment being nicer than they really are because she has a date with whoever she’s supposed to meet. But then, when the other person cancels, she sees reality for what it is. So poor old Stanley going on about how the love of his life didn’t say much last night, but he knew how she felt, which is why she was ideal for him, had me suspecting that he’s filling the blanks for his lover’s point of view. I figured that such short-term bliss may not last on the long run when his special lady DOES open her mouth and says something that disagrees with him.
But then, the inclusion of the flies over where she was resting gave it away.
Enough of the philosophy there :) |
Arachnid Kitty 2007-06-29 . chapter 1You're writting never ceases to amaze me. I have to thank you for bringing such beauty into what you do. Every story you write, Even if I don't like it (loved this one thoguh) I'm always thuroughly impressed. You're one of those few people that can make a difference in the writting world, I think. I'm excited to see what you write next.

Maiafay 2007-04-15 . chapter 1Nice little one-shot...and I'm adding it to my C2. Nauseating, yet, sweet...like spoiled fruit. Nice job.
Don't see much of you here anymore...but I guess it's to be expected... |
kamesen 2005-02-24 . chapter 1 I liked reading this story; it has a lot of detail! I, like many others, longed to meet Stanley in the game. ...And beat him savagely. Alright, I'll admit, perhaps I'm a little over-protective of Heather. Anyways, reading this makes me want to learn more about Stanley's past. I'll definitely read it if you write it! |
Salem Saori 2005-01-22 . chapter 1Ah, hell... Why didn't I notice this story earlier?
Stanley Coleman is an intriguing character. While playing the game for first time, he scared me to no end - and I was dying to meet him. I've been thinking of writing something about him for some time now.
This is just the type of story which seems to appeal his personality. Obsessive, and caring in such a disturbing way. Some might say gross - for me, it's merely poethic. Just like Stanley is. I'm starting to really, -really- like him.
I love everything in this story. The style, the word choice, and the in-character-ness. Gee, you should write more pieces like this one. Added to favourites.

SlapDash 2004-11-10 . chapter 1Oh, that Stanley! No wonder he's everybody's favorite stalker!
Transient, indeed. Just like the Japanese Buddhists say: Shogyou Mujou.
Granted, I can't really imagine him doing something like THAT (nor would I want to...), but you captured his obsessive personality perfectly. Excellent work! |
 Kadaj 2004-10-01 . chapter 1O I'm adding this to my favorites! |
kinneas 2004-08-29 . chapter 1That's a sweet wartime poem. Nice fic. Satisfyingly gross. |
AnarchicQ 2004-07-12 . chapter 1I adore Stanley, and I desperatly wanted to meet him in the game. I felt for our dear Stan.
This piece was beautiful, and really served to 'flesh out' Stanley. It was well written, obcessive, and almost lyrical in it's madness/dellusionment.
My one little nitpick was that it was a touch predictable(maybe because it's Stanley?), but great, great, great!
May I use it for refference in my own SH fic? |
notanotherfanficauthor 2004-04-23 . chapter 1Just to clear something up:
1) He's talking to (and shagging) the corpse of the woman he garotted.
2) Yes it *is* sick and disgusting. That's the point.
3) Dulce et Decorum Est means "It is sweet and fitting"
4) Thanks for reviewing. |
enRAGEd 2004-04-17 . chapter 1... Pro Patria Mori!
"To die for your country is good and honourable" or something completely and utterly ridiculous like that.
Hey, I don't even know who this guy is and I love him. People who have that kind of twisted experience after murder are always good. Although, I prefer people who can treat murder like its nothing, instead of going all delusional.
Is a very good story, and has an atmosphere to it, but I figured out she was dead when he said she was tiring of him. Every time someone says that it means that they've done them in. Was ace though. |
Jake Blackthorn 2004-04-17 . chapter 1 that was sick and disgusting, someone in love with a corpse??
your mind must be decaying.
write something more original |
Twisted Discourse 2004-04-07 . chapter 1 I liked your capturing of Stanley's obsessive behavior. Though I have one word to describe this, necrophilla. Other then that, it was an intriguing story. |
