This is a review of the chapters so far.

The story is interesting.

I loved the description of Harry inspiring the Aurors before the final battle. That was beautifully in character. I love the description of Remus' cottage.

Several quirks of the writing style, however, get in the way.

Typos and Word Choice:

Animagus is the singular, Animagi is plural. You keep referring to Harry as the Animagi, which, beyond the fact that it should be singular, imnplies that is the major aspect of his personality. He is more than just an animagus, and we've only seen that aspect of him a few times in the story.

Also you've got too/to and than/then confusion (as well as others). Most programs check spelling and grammar these days. Sometimes there are words used that make no sense.

Style:

One thing keeps jumping out at me...'"Speech." Came the reply.' This passive construction is used too much. Where you do use it, it should be "Speech," came the reply. But better would be "Speech", Harry said.

Characterization:

What are Cara's flaws? What are his strengths? So far, he is a sweet, timid, gentle person, who will stand up for his mate. Kinda like a plushie. A lot of reviewers have said they want to take Cara and put him in their pocket, which is what one does to a stuffed doll. There needs to be more to him.

Likewise, most of the canon characters don't sound like themselves (speech patterns and behaviour). You do a good job with Remus, the Twins, and Percy. Except for their names, and some choice scenes (like the description of when Harry inspired the Aurors) I would not recogize Harry, Ron, Hermione or Molly from their behaviour or speech.

World:

This is a magical world. Why do they drive instead of apparate or floo? I see very little magic being used.

I also noticed the silver bracelet that other reviewers have mentioned. It is things like this that make this not feel like a Harry Potter story, but rather one that uses a cutout of Rowling's wizarding world, and the names and relationships between the characters, without paying attention to the depth of either.

This story could be really good. You have a unique plot. With some attention to detail (characterization, worldbuilding, and writing style) it would be.

I know you wrote this a long time ago, and have probably moved on in your writing, but I wanted to give you a review, becuase there is a lot of potential here. You are writing something from you. There are many HP stories out there, and after awhile, they all seem the same. This one feels different, and if some work were put into the areas mentioned, it could be really great.

Hi ! I love this story ! You are a really talented author, it's so different from most other fanfiction. Cara is such a great caracter, well done for inventing him. Please keep on writting, it's really appreciated here (I live in France). One thing that surprised me was that Cara gave Harry a silver bracelet that could hurt him, but anyway... it's your choice ! Oh and Remus is great here too; it's so sad that Sirius died. Thank you so much for not putting him with Tonks. puppy love forever ! Bye X
