I'm just wondering why the hobbits thought that the rider was a Nazgul, for didn't they know that all of the Nazgul had been killed when the ring was destroyed?

Other than that, this story has been great. I love the part about how Stuart got his name... Merry was being so evil! I love it!

Hm... I was just wondering... Rosie let Sam and Frodo go by themselves when Sam accompanied Frodo to the Grey Havens... why is she so worried about letting him go alone now? And I noticed that you lapsed a little and put the word "ok" into the dialogue. Other than that, this was another good chapter.

Just a guess... are Rosie and Elanor going to be their companions? I doubt Rosie will be very pleased with Sam going off on his own again... although it may seem rude for her to show up uninvited... we shall see...

This is very good so far. But... gah! You've hardly gotten any reviews! I don't understand why... this is interesting thus far... Frodo and Sam are in character, and your writing is as good as every.

You have one little mistake, though... Frodo, Sam, Rosie, and Elanor are all supposed to live together in Bag End. Other than that... great start! Now... on to chapter 2!

Since when is Kingsfoil a weed? And it only grows where the Númenóreans lived or camped, so you're not going to find any in the Shire spontaneously growing in someone's vegetable garden.

(FYI: Frodo sailed over the sea two years after the Ring was destroyed. And Sam was living in Bag end with Frodo after he married Rosie.)

Very good. but personally i think its too slow in developing, maybe just me. alos a few typos (dunno how 2 spell that) in chap. 5 and 6. In short i really like it! Update!
