| lovecelest 2004-07-05 ch 1, | abuseGhosts, ghosts and ghosts. So many ghosts. I'm sure this would make more sense if I read the book. But this wasn't bad. I didn't understand it all, but it wasn't bad. And what is with that Lannie guy, can't he speak english? |
| Melchy 2004-04-06 ch 1, | abuseI have always been a firm believer that after Carolyn's death she would join Daniel in "living" at Gull Cottage and am very happy to find someone who agrees with me. I also am really intriqued by the characters of Lannie and Beth and hope I can find the books--ones I have never heard of, but hope to retify that in the future. Thanks for a wonderful read! |
| Tabitha12 2004-04-06 ch 1, | abuseI like this story very much -- like CottageGhost, I too am unfamiliar with the Everlastin' characters, but rest assured, I am going to be tearing down to my nearest bookstore and aqquaint myself with them! I like Beth and Lannie very much -- "wormy sort" indeed, and I too was intrigued with the idea of Carolyn and Daniel being together as ghosts, haunting Gull Cottage, yet still unable to rest, unable to touch, unable to kiss. You have produced a wonderful 'first' here. I hope you follow it with another story soon -- perhaps another crossover with Everlastin'? I understand that author has written five books! A job well done, Amanda! |
| CottageGhost 2004-04-05 ch 1, | abuseWhat a lovely crossover! I'm woefully unfamiliar with Lachlan and Beth, but after reading this, I think I'll have to remedy that! :-) I really enjoyed the interplay between the characters -- it's so funny to see how alike Lannie and Daniel actually are, yet so predictably unlikely to ever admit that! Also interesting was your choice to set this after Carolyn has passed on and joined Daniel -- I think it's the first time I've seen that happen. Very nice! Can we hope for another installment? Thanks so much for the wonderful read! Chantal |
