The Sleeping Creature 2008-02-11 . chapter 1I really liked how you wrote this-- I'm not certain exactly why, but I really like your style of writing. Very well done piece. |
MormonMafia 2007-04-20 . chapter 1wow. so powerful. if satan had not fallen, then someone else would have. great story |
GuesssWho 2006-11-18 . chapter 1Wonderful. And yes, I think Lucifer was treated cruelly as well. |
Uke Love 2006-07-11 . chapter 1:/ I always thought Lilith was a rumor, I am so~ getting into hell for this :D |
 Impersonating-an-entity 2006-02-28 . chapter 1o-em-gee...
Fantastic. Similar to my fic. And here I thought I was original - damn.
One thing as far as Christian myth - my source said that the line "Should the sun of fire kneel before the sun of mud", or whatever it was in your fic, was said by Azezel, who is called Lucifer's standard-bearer by Milton (also according to my source). The source was Wikipedia, if you desire to check for yourself.
Anyhow, a small thing, but one that I noticed...
Otherwise...
Luscious. I love it. ^-^
Entity and the Keeper |
EternalPheonixtears 2006-01-19 . chapter 1Wow, i really like this story.
It's kind of a 'you got to feel sorry for Lucifer' kind of story.
I like it!
Well done. |
The Red Destruction 2005-12-05 . chapter 1I thought I reviewed this story before, but when going through my favorites list, I found it, reread it, and noticed that I hadn't, so here goes.
Firstoff: I love you.
Secondly: This is amazing.
Thirdy!...um. I love you some more. There we go.
A more comprehensive review couldn't be made, due to the fact that Selene is a pile of mush. |
Evermore 2005-01-07 . chapter 1 Oh, yes yes, I do love this. ^^ This caters very well to my atheist principles. It's accurate when you compare it to what the Bible and all the books on the Bible say about Satan's Fall, which is an automatic plus; it's nice to see it as something that is not terrible, because it's wildly different and new. -nods- I love this, yes yes. |
AKrae 2004-12-23 . chapter 1 You go girl. And I like you more because you are an atheist, hehe.
"Religion is the opiate of the masses" (Karl Marx)
You and I see clearly, it is those who believe in myths that don't/ |
Cyblade Silver 2004-09-28 . chapter 1I always thought that God was a bit of a jerk for forcing someone who was created first to worship one of His later, lesser creations. I know that that kind of thing would ** me off. |
 Readasaur 2004-09-13 . chapter 1Oh my...
For an athiest offering a third-person perspective, this is very-well written.
An intreging possibility, to say the least.
Of course, being the nit-picker that I am, I must point out that God never required the Angels to worship Man, and actually gets jealous if anyone worships anyone or anything except him.
Still, this was an excellent short-story... I would encourage you to write at least one more, out-lying Satan's ultimate plan, seeing as making the humans unappealing to God's eyes wouldn't earn him his position in heaven back anytime soon. |
Ryuu of Aqua and Shadows 2004-05-16 . chapter 1Hmm.. That is a good theory of why Satan went to hell... But, it was acctualy because Lucifer was trying to be higher (more powerful) than God |
 Alexandra Spar 2004-05-04 . chapter 1Interesting.
I never thought about it that way; there're obvious Transformers parallels here which make me want to go write angstfic.
My personal take on Samael's fall was that he made a decision not to serve, and was punished for it. This decision, to me, was borne not so much of love for God as resentment of God's ineffable will and the subsequent belittling of the individual as opposed to the overarching deity. I wouldn't have served either.
What I'd have done is I'd have been chucked out of heaven and then made a heaven of hell, as in "Spheres of Influence."
Nice writing, and ignore the theists who say that their perspective is the only one to see things from.

Isabella Fairfield 2004-04-27 . chapter 1Ep! and oh! *sniffles* well done. |
RandomChristianMan 2004-04-12 . chapter 1 Your story started out nicely enough, and the concept behind it was interesting to say the very least. The end of your story destroyed all of my enjoyment though. To me it sounded like, "Oh he'll get his! I'll get the last laugh!" which is what the cartoon villain says when brought to jail. In other words it was too cliche, and beyond that it was worded poorly.
Of course this seems to say that Satan's only flaw was the refusal to worship any but God. In reality though this actually shows Satan to be a very conceited being, in that he feels his being made from fire implies his superiority over he whom is made from dust. In other words, Satan is being prideful; which interestingly enough is something focused on as evil in eastern religions. |
