Masterful, you seem to have captured everything I think Raziel would be feeling at this time, and so much more besides.I especially liked the way you descibed his need for a vengeance that was bloody and hard won, his sense of being cheated by encountering a Kain who seemed weary, naive and unwilling to fight. There's a sadness to this piece in the way that it's written, a quiet despair behind the words that communicates the scene and all the threads of plotting that have led up to it quite perfectly.
The Hylden voice is great addition - just as I think it would have been.
