A really good story and very well written. I didn't think it was slash-y at all; it's nonsense to suggest that any fic that brings Jack and Daniel close together in some way is slash or has a slash element. But then, some people can read that into *anything* and didn't you say that Michael Shanks himself said many fanfic writers were obsessed with homosexuality? ;-)
I also loved the *bunnysicle* thing, I had to take a moment to calm myself before reading the story because of that!

Very well written. I especially love the end. I really thought you were going to let one or both of them die. Yay for happy endings! :-)
