Oh my God. Oh My GOD! YOU wrote this?!? I JUST reviewed another story of yours a second ago! I read this story somewhere about two days ago and was absolutly flabbergasted! This was incredible, so glad I have a chance to tell you so.

WOW! This was really good! One shot? Either way excellent. After reading this I realise that G in The Piper and the Gunsmith is the Trickster and logically it follows that the Piper is the Pied Piper, got some kind of thing for the characters? As long as it keeps you writing like this I love it!

Nicely written, as always. I wandered across a couple of your batmen stories from a couple of years ago out there in the wild, wooly world of the web. I believe they were posted on Dannell's site. Nicely done then. Good to see you haven't lost your touch.
Also, always appreciated when a writer takes another look at a character not normally examined by the bulk of the writers.

Wow, I had no idea where this story was going until about half way through. I believe this is the first Pied Piper story I have read on this site, and it is a fairly disturbing one.
You killed The Trickster! Over and done in the blink of an eye.
Piper has long walked a fine line between the light and the dark. It is the end of this story that packs the punch. He quits. He stops fighting, and floats out of the real world on a cloud of music. Heroes would not do that, but Piper was never much of a hero anyway.
Good story.
