I was looking forward to even reading a chapter when I saw I said there was only one. Come to find it was just a note. I don't even read one chapter fanfics and seeing all the reviews and follows made me want to. Instead of letting the readers let you snap, you could have left it up for everyone to at least read what you did have done. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it immensely. Well, years later having passed now, I hope you actually do put it back up.

Ah, dammit. You know, this was one of those fics that stuck with me, way back when I was an anonymous reader. I'm a bit sad that you decided to take all the chapters out; I remembered reading this fic out of the blue and decided to look for it. I was excited that the search function of this site actually found it, but then I was met with this.

Readers can be demanding. I can understand that, now that I've published some stories (although, not as popular). I wish you didn't let them get to you. Those fuckers just couldn't comprehend the amount of time, effort, patience, and creativity it takes to publish even one chapter, let alone a series. I hope you can get around to posting the fic again. And I'm being sincere. I stumbled on this fic pre-2008, before I made an account. It's 2012 now. Surely you can tell the impact you've made on me. I'm sure I can say the same for others. I encourage you to repost it. Even in its unfinished glory, I believe you should. It's a shame not to display it to the world. You'll always have less than thrilling reviewers, but as an author, you can choose to overlook them.

haha you have no idea how long i have been trying to find this story again XD but it is kinda sad that once i found it...i couldn't read. seriously i thought it was complete before i even started looking again P anyways...i understand that you can't update to often and actually have a life outside of fanfiction. thats a good thing. haha. but i can't wait to read this story again once you put it up. which i hope you do. but if you decide to not finish it. i wouldn't mind reading the incomplete version of it either. considering i thought it was complete, it must of have been amazing the way it was XD...but i read it a long time ago...soo...maybe it was a cliffy, i just forgot to add it to my favorites. ok i'm blabbering now. i'll stop talking and just wish you luck with everything you have going on and finishing the story so you can put it back up and we can all enjoy your amazing story again ]

While I am most sad that you removed this story, I completely understand your dilemma. Writers are people too and have many things to balance in their lives. Trust me, I know. :) I've been working on a story for almost three years and it's only half-way done. With that said, I hope that you'll find a balance between your writing and your personal life to which you are happy. It is more important to have a wonderful life outside of than to stress about continuing a piece of work. I am sad because after reading your summary, I was most intrigued to follow through with the story. Rurouni Kenshin and pirates is a most fascinating and curious mix. It sounded very interesting and I hope, that when you are ready, you'll repost this story. Best of luck with everything and do not worry about rushing your work. You must wait to post chapters when you (not the readers) feel that it is up to par with your stylistic needs. I will be most excited when you do repost your work and I will be sure to review your chapters with constructive criticism and encouraging comments. Although I uunderstand the position you are in I must also say that I will sorely miss the story until finished. Like many others I will continue to check your page in hopes for the completion of not only Waves of Love but also your other incomplete stories. I would also like to say good luck in your day to day events seeing how you must worry about not only your school/work life but also having the chance to relax and enjoy the life you live. 'One cannot write if one is stressed and weary'. I say this, even though it sounds silly, because I too am a writer and artist. While I do not write fanfiction (though I do love to read it! :D) I write fantasy/Scifi and have come to understand the fact that it is nearly impossible to write a chaper (mine usually range from 8-10 pages) per week. While some can do this, and I commend them for it, I however cannot. Between Work and house work I rarely find the time where I am relaxed enough to work my through a couple of pages, much less a whole chapter. Anyways, I just wanted to say Good job as well as Good Luck. By the way, sorry for rambling lol!

I totally understand how you feel. While I still write original stories short stories for personal creativity and enjoyment, my fanfiction has been on hiatus in years. I've been trying to finish the rest of the story so that when I do update, I will have all the chapters ready to adhere to a schedule and won't have to go on hiatus again.

Don't feel bad for not being able to find time to write. I just finished a 10 page essay today for my university course, and finished another essay the week before, and the week before, and so on. School work and personal work never ends _ Fanfiction inevitably falls to the wayside amide all this stuff I need to do.

Just ignore those people who demand an update, those are the people who are probably not interested in reading a good story and just want anything to read, so they'd move on to other stories soon enough. There's lots and lots of bad stories on the internet, endless supply of them. It's the good ones, such as this story, that come alone once in a while that I treasure. Most of the authors I follow update once in several months if they are making good time ... several of my favourite authors update maybe once a year ... and I have been following them for maybe 7 years or more XD Don't worry If the story is good, there will be people to appreciate it. I don't mind waiting if its a story worth reading.
