GaaNaru and NaruShika are two of my favorite pairings... so between them, it would be kinda hard to decide which one to say is better for Naruto. I guess, I'm rooting for Gaara in this fic but I won't be disappointed if he ends up with Shikamaru. I'm really interested to see where this will go. +Story Alert

This is really good...I'm liking it a lot. ^^ Also, though Gaara at first came off as some kinda "I going to rape you Naruto-chan" person...though that seems like how he would act in the anime if that were ever to happen.

Anyways, I like it and keep up the great work!

Hm you know I never thought of making a story like this. You can kinda have two parings one with Naruto/Gaara because they basicaly understand each other then you could like make Gaara die or something and have Naruto like Shikamaru. (If you do this I'd probably be tramatized for a bit then I'd get over it. I love Gaara to death (he's my favorite charactor) but If you wrote it good, I wouldn't mind too much. ^_^ hm I just realized this could be taken as hinting that I want it to end up that way. Well I don't realy care eather way. ^__^ Its your story and I'm sure I'll be happy with what ever ending you come up with. Just keep updateing please!

^^ Just wanting to coment on this chapter before I contiued. i LOVE Gaara/Naruto fics! ^_^ And since I've douloaded ALL the chapters made as far as I know I'm kinda mad at Sasuke so Gaara/Naru would devinatly be my favorite. Heck, it'd be my favorite even is Sasuke was his usual self. ^^ Havn't read any Shikamaru/Naruto ones though. It sounds like a cute paring. ^^ I kinda like Shikamaru/Tamari over that though (one of the few Guy/girl pairings that I actualy like). Latter (if you havn't gotten to manga 25 then you won't realy get it) it will give you evidence about the Shika/Tamari pairing.
