That was really good. I just was going to skim it and see what you thought but I ended up reading the whole thing. I love Tommy's thoughts.

Hayley and Justin being there. Also the reason he choose the colors, the red and the blue and choosing the yellow makes sense from that whole thing.

You did an awesome job on this. I wouldn't mind knowing Kat's decision.

Intresting. I had always wondered what it would be like if Kira had been a pink ranger, she could certainly pass for one. I'm certainly no fan of Tommy/Kat, but if you ever do decide to continue this, I'll be willing to read.

I really liked the explaination, it came out very well. Especially that episode of Tommy and Kat as an old married couple. When I first saw Dino Thunder, I was always asking "Where's Kat? Didn't they get married?"

And Justin. You made me like Justin. Although I guess that wouldn't be hard, now that he's grown up. I guess I didn't like the idea of a kid ranger.

I would love to see the story from Kat's point of view, if you're willing to write it. I never liked Kat all that much, but I'm sure with your skills, you could make her more likeable.

You really have a talent for showing Tommy's pov. Keep up the good work! This explanation was really believable.

Now, getting serious, you did a great job, and i hope that you will make some more work about dino thunder, not just about this story. And i loved Justin! He made very well in the story, not being a kid anymore and all. I hope that you make some more stories with those two (Tommy and Justin). Maybe an alternate universe, where the world is in war and those two are the only hope, against the enemy. I don't know you are the writer! Please go on with the good, excellent, fantastic, terrific work.

You might know that Kat and Tommy aren't my favorite couple, but I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel. I'd thought about the same thing somewhat, after taking note that there were only the three colors, and this explains pretty well one of the possibilities. I'm so glad you've posted again! It's been a while since I've read anything by you. Hope all is well on your side. Great little fic.

*applause* I've been away from PR for a couple of years now, but something's drawn me back there agin, and nothing gives me a kick-start like your terrific fanfic writing! It's just as good as ever! I can't wait for "Dino Thunder" to start over here in the UK, but that won't be until late this year or early next, at the best and, gee, I'm gonna be off to university by then! 0_o Where's the time going?
I like how the past still haunts Tommy in this lil ficlet - after the life's he's led, it's not exactly gonna go away - and, if you do decide to add some type of sequel, I'd be more than interested in reading it! Great work, as always - keep it up!

A wonderful story that takes an introspective look at Tommy's mind frame and how he got to the point he is at right now. The idea that he wanted to make a better world for his children was right in character with Old Tommy O. The fact that Kat wouldn't want to stick around for the possible death of Tommy because of his chosen path was also very believable.
You did two things with this story a lot of authors aren't able to do: 1) get me believing that Tommy would consider a long term future with Kat and 2) make Justin palpable if not completely likable.
I also see a sort of self-entrapment here in regards to Tommy that's very tragic. He wants to make sure the world is a peaceful place for the future generations (his children) yet that very proactive stance seems to be leading him down the path where he will not have children of his own. He seems doomed to forever be haunted by the ranger uniform. And that, too, is very much so in character with Tommy.
Beautifully written story with spot on characterization. As for the follow-up? Bring it on.

Wow. Excellent work, just like everything else of yours that I have read. Bravo. Kinda pity Tommy. Rangering is who he is now, and he’ll never truly leave it behind. Just hope he doesn’t become the next Zordon and get caught in a time warp by an evil witch. Excellent work on deciding why the Peterodactyl Ranger of the Dino Thunder Power Rangers is Yellow and not Pink. Of course the Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops Rangers were easy to decide. Honoring Jason and Billy, two of the greatest men Tommy has ever known. And in making the Pterodactyl Dino Thunder Ranger Yellow he is able to honor the entire original team. Jason with Red. Billy with Blue. And Kim and Trini with the Yellow Pterodactyl.

This was a very cool story. Very well written, with lots of reference to PR eps - I like that! :-) Justin's never been my favorite Ranger, but I really like the way you represent him. It makes sense that he'd be helping Tommy like this. I'd definitly be interested in a follow up to the Tommy/Kat relationship - so much ink has been give to Tommy/Kim, I'd like to read your perspective on Tommy and Kat.

Wow. This story really surprised me, its one of the best Dino Thunder stories I've read. Great job! You really should write a few more stories relating to this one. Tommy/Kat is a good pairing, maybe even write one where they get back together. Anyways, you have a great talant as an author. Keep it up. Great job!
