For a long time I avoided reading this fic. I'm not sure why but I kept skipping it when I would find it in other peoples favorites. But in the end. . . It was beautiful!
It got a bit too angsty sometimes, and I felt that Penny softened up a bit too much at times. However it was a beautiful story, and the best OC in LOTR I've read. Congrats on writing such an awesome fic.

Okay, I haven't reviewed until now and it took me a good 2 days to get as far as I am now. But that's not the point...in all the 55 chapters I've read so far...I think I have cried reading in almost every chapter. And I had noticed that it got steadily worse after Penny and the rest left Arwen in Rohan! Then this chapter came up! OMG...it was too much I think. I think there's permanent lump in my throat now...
Ofcourse, I had my "SQUE!!" moments...but I just wanted you to know how much the story has moved me (and ain't just the Halland-Penny thing!). So there. Haha! I think I'll finish the last five chapters tonight. I don't think I can sleep even if I tried!

I enjoyed this story immensly, quite a refreshing way of seeing things. It is rare to find a fiction of LoTR not centered on members of the felloship. I liked to learn so many details about the books that I had pehaps overlooked or forgotten. I also liked your narrative style quite a lot. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Wow!! Just wow!! I've just spent the past four days reading this and 'Don't Panic' in their entirety (hence why I haven't reviewed every chapter, because I just went straight from one to the next.)

This seriously has to be the best piece of fan fiction I've ever read, and I agree with what some of your other reviewers have said when they commented it's better than some books out there.

Truly, I'm so thrilled you decided to share this with the world and I cannot thank you enough for doing so.

Every chapter was superb, and filled with action, drama, laughter and tears on most occasions. I could go onto list my favorite parts of the story, but if I did, I think we'd be here forever! *lol*

Let me just say that I thought your style of writing was wonderful, your use of language fantastic, your characterization – of both canon characters and OCs – was astounding, I loved the references to 'our' time that you threw in – like the songs Penny sang and her longing for chocolate and pizza. The depths you went into with both Penny and the plot were amazing, and the many twists and turns along the way kept me glued to my computer screen so that I could finish the story as soon as possible.

During chapter 59, I actually screamed “NO!” at the computer and had to turn the screen off few a good few minutes. Then, as I got to the end, and discovered everything worked out, I was grinning like a maniac and bouncing in my seat.

Additionally, the final twist in chapter 60 blew me away, and I thought it was a very fitting end to the story.

Finally, let me just say again, this really was an awesome story and I don't think I can ever convey in words how wonderful I thought it was.

Thank you so much for sharing it, and making the last four days of sitting in front of my computer so wonderful.

I am a huge fan of yours and "penn-ii's", I am so sad that the story is finshed. Yet I must tell you I have never read a better fanfic then this one. I must say I have read many a real book that are not as good as your story. Thank you for what you have writen. I love your writeing and will proble read it many times to come in the futcher.

ok before I start I just have to say sorry for not reviewing so far, but god damit I just can help starting the next chapter before I realised I should have reviewed!

Anyway, I found 'Don't Panic' I think a month ago, finished it(which took a while due to you awesomly huge chapters, then went straight to this one. I have to say, these are what falling into ME stories should be like, and the ending! I have never been so happy reading a story where people get married! I seriously felt like getting out of my chair and jumping around like a lunitic.

If J.R.R.Tolkin was still alive, this would probably be the one Lord of the Rings fanfic story he would be proud of.

Oh god this review is getting long and I have to get ready for school, so to sum it up, this is the best Fanfiction story I have ever read and I shall read it again and again!


P.S. I love how this story, no matter where you start, it will just will keep going on and on.

I can't say "thank you" enough for "Don't Panic!" and "Okay, NOW Panic!" It's absolutely bizarre to me that I've been reading these since... shortly before "Don't Panic!" was finished, and here it is, four years later. I sat down this weekend and after several hours (during which I drank no less than twenty cups of tea, cried something like ten times, and giggled too many times to count) read the entire thing from start to finish. This story is what fanfic should be: chock-full of detail, loveable and relatable characters, and something that makes the reader want to go back and reread the canon source immediately. (Which I would do right this moment if I wasn't already doing a reread of a wonderful Arthurian retelling, but my LotR reread might be next, whereas last week it was somewhere around #20.)

I've spent the past four years recommending these fics to all of my friends who have so much as heard of Lord of the Rings, and I will very enthusiastically continue to do so in the future. Thanks for the great experience, and I look forward to the time when I get to reread this and remember exactly why I added this to my favorites list years ago.

I've been rereading this story and I happened to read this chapter at 11pm. You have incredible writing skill because I got a ridiculously large craving for yoghurt reading this, and had to wait until morning to get any. :P

It is hard to believe that I'm reading the final chapter of this story. It's been four years already, wow. What to say now? I only have to thank you for entertaining me for so long, it is the least I can do. Penny's adventures kept me hooked for more thant four years actually if you consider the first part of the story. Thank you for this, thank you for not leaving this tale unfinished and thank you for writing drabbles about Penny lol I completely understand your problem with finding time to write, I've been there already. I am glad, though, that you'll be able to still entertain us with short stories. I'm dying to start reading them. There are lots of aspects of Penny's future life that can still be explored.
