Best damn fight scene Iv read in a long long time. So far, this is the best chapter Iv read from this series! It has everything I could ask for (except for more Nightcrawler...I can't get enough of him!)! Thank you for not only reading the comics and knowing the story, but for being true to the characters you are writting about. So, until Kurt decides to grow another goatee, make mine Fallen X-Angels!:3

Applause to the both of you for dealing with a subject that seems so fleeting and ephermiral in the X-Books: the idea that people DIE. It happens so often in those pages that characters become blase to something that is far more important to the reader than Jean Grey. Thank ou thank you thank you for the talk between Nightcrawler and Jubilee. It was practically cathardic to see these guys react appropriately.

This whole series rocks! I said it once, and i'll keep saying it, you guys kick the crap out of Marvel. Loved the Jubilee/Nightcrawler talk. Everyone over at the x-fan Jubilee board wishes Marvel would clear stuff up like this, but they never do.
I think in a future arc you should have the Fallen Angels square off against the X-men. That would rule!

I just wanted to tell you that I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. It is one of the few I read at FFN. It is well written and interesting. Despite the fact that I have not read uncanny in years, I was able to quickly catch up with the charicters. I look forward to the next issue

I've been reading this series for a while, but kept on forgetting to submit a review. Bad me.
Anyway, I would like to say that I love this series. It's not too dramatic, like some X-Men fanfics can be. It's a nice mix of various genres, me thinks.
I'm really feeling bad for Jean-Paul right now. Bobby's my all-time favorite character, but Jean-Paul's beginning to get really close. In all honesty, I'm rooting for Jean-Paul/Bobby. I have nothing against Kitty, but I never really liked Kitty/Bobby.
I also feel bad for Jono. I've never liked Paige, but it's just sad to see him hung up on her.
I really liked the whole talk between Jubilee and Kurt. It was really interesting and clever. I thought Shade was very interesting to put in there.
Anyway, great series! Keep writing. :D

I'm really glad Kurt is the Fallen Angel's leader he'd be the leader I'd want to follow.
I'm glad you guys are using all these characters with so much potential and actaually using them to those potentionals. I expect great things from this story, because I know you'll do great things with this story.
I'm especially looking forward to the return of the swatchbuckling fuzzy elf. =)
Oh and I seem to attract elves, which can be a very good thing mind you, and I just wanted to say the fuzzy elf is more then welcome to visit and add to my flock of elves.

I just read the whole series so far, and really am enjoying it. Also gald to have Jono in the mix (who, other than Jubilee, is one of my favoriote characters!) I wait patiently for the next chapter!

Ok. I have now choice now. I give up. I'm coming out of the closet. (NO! I don't mean it like THAT!) For months now I have avoided reading your Iceman related fics because nearly every other fic I come across that has Bobby Drake in it unvariably makes him into the X-Men's answer to Gilligan. It's just sad and wrong. But, then, I noticed that you also had Kitty running around in there with him and, well, I love Kitty. I relate to Kitty. So, I was forced to read Just a Couple of Kids, After All. And, low and behold, here's a fic that doesn't make Iceman look like The Joker on speed and restores Kitty's intelligence to her. Bless you. I am thoroughly enjoying this new series you are co-writing. I believe you've captured the spirit of the characters, what they are going through, and their motivations. It's good to see them portrayed as real, live people, with real, live emotions and problems. That's something our friends in the comic industry can't seem to get a handle on anymore. So many of the X-Men now have nearly interchangable personalities. And there are too dang many of them running around at one time. I miss the days when we had five or six mutants on a team, as you've done here. A large supporting cast is fine, but you can't have meaningful story arcs involving 47 characters, all of whom have leading roles. So, in closing, let me say that I look forward to more wonderful fics from you. Soon.

Have you thought about putting together a creative team and making this an online, fan-owned-and-operated comic? The premise is intruguing, the characerization engaging, the writing is excellent, and you plainly do have a fan base for it...
It kinda gives us a look into the personalities and inner workings of some of the most under-used X-Men and Women in the comicverse. It would be neat if Marvel actually did this...you guys should work for Marvel. Really!

Though I was looking forward to more Jp/Kitty/Bobby angst (which is strange because I usually hate love triangles) I was more than happy to see Kurt go into action again. You guys have managed to let the fuzzy elf shine in a way his comic book self hasn't for years. I had a grin on my face all through his fight with Shade. This is how Nightcrawler is meant to be written.
Shade is a interesting character and I am looking forward to seeing her again. Can't wait to see how Kitty and Paige work together next issue. ;)

is it just me, or does it seem like when you're waiting for the next chapter of an amazing story like this it seems so long in coming, but when it finally gets here and you're reading it, it's as if no time passed at all. keep up the great work!

This has been a great series and I absolutely love Bobby and Jean-Paul in it, being as they are currently my two favourites in this series. Must commend you on your characterization. These characters are believeable and in synch with how the comics portrays them to be. I never knew Kitty and Bobby had a thing for one another. I have always been a supporter of Bobby/Emma but ok...and seeing how the comics are portraying Emma with Scott, I suppose my wishful thinking will not be happening anytime soon. So yea...am I the only one out here who's supporting JP and Bobby? I'm not one for slash but I think Jean-Paul and Bobby have some chemistry and seriously I just feel so sad for JP. He's got a sad life.

I have been waiting with baited breath for this part! Oh I can't WAIT to see Kitty and JP go head to head...lol Jono, loverly Jono, I know you call him the angst, but damn if I don't want to see him crack more then just the occasional grin.

I'm interested to see what happens when Bobby and Kitty ACTUALLY talk. Considering how, er, frosty their relationship had been before. And I feel bad for JP. He may be a bastard, but he seems like a lonely bastard. Really, the worst kind. Jono is sorta sad. Actually, really sad. I feel bad for him, moreso considering I'm not really a Paige fan. She's like all the girls in high school I tollerated but made fun of behind their back. And occassionally to their faces in a joking way if we were friends. But still... dude. That makes me sound bad, huh?? It's okay, I'm a **. Anyway, I felt worse for him after he saw Paige folling Jean-Paul like a lapdog. 'Cause she kinda does. Her li'l crush is sad 'cause since it's like watching a car accident. You can't do anything to stop it, but no matter how badly you want to look away, you just can't. *shrugs* I can't describe it anymore eloquently. Maybe I shouldn't have admitted that... Uhm, as for Hank, sadness that he's leaving. My hero tho. Gotta love the furry dudes. ^_^ Onto the stars of the issue -- Kurt and Jubilee. Firstly, I feel kinda bad for Jubes 'cause she never gets the hook-up. Maybe she and Jono could...? Maybe not. Still, I felt so sad when she was turned down by Ev (who went for M -- EW!!), and now there just doesn't seem to be anybody for her. Sadness. I felt UBER sad when she confessed to Kurt why she was upset. OMG!! How disheartening. *cries* That would just plain suck. Period. Lastly, but certainly not least, Kurt. OMG!! The swashbuckling (doesn't that sound like a pirate description??) lady's man makes a comeback. Flirtig with enemy, nice. Very nice. Their li'l battle was QUITE entertaining. I'm not sure if I understood right tho, what happened to Jubilee?? Was she just not there?? I'm slightly confuzzled. But still, dude. Go blue boy!! :^D Alright, I think that is quite enough, don't you?? Let's just sum it up. I LOVED IT!! The cell phones were a cute touch. So, update SOON plz!! Adios.
