wow...it's so beautifully descriptive!

snif.. this was the most beautiful pieces i have ever seen... you can almost hear the notes as she plays them, you described it soo well. and it's not hard to picture the audience straining in their seats.. aww greatness...
i hope that you will continue to write this story, your last sentence has me waiting for more

i don't know whether you've ever played an audition before, but the story you told doesn't follow the standard procedures. the harp would already be on the stage and in tune so that the student could walk out, set pedals, and start playing right away. also, the judges would tell the student to play various scales and arpeggios in different keys, to demonstrate theory mastery. they might then ask questions about technique and history, to test the student's knowledge.
other than that (and some minor grammatical errors), this is a very well-written piece. it's not that often that i find a story about harps on here, which is sad because the harp is the greatest instrument ever! (yes, i am a professional harpist, in case you're wondering) your descriptions are detailed and flavoured, your musical knowledge is fairly accurate, and Deborah Hanson-Conant is awesome. i hope you continue with this story, i'll definitely be checking.

hhmm very good i love the way u describe things ur very detail oriented. U must know about that hole running start thing right, well I was thinking about doing that cause im in an alternitave school that will let me finish early like by 11th grade and well they say by 10 or 11 i cant remember i could do that runnibg start but i want to go to the unaversity of washington in seattle but i didnt know if that was possible, do u think it is?
