Heather Logan 2006-12-16 ch 7,	abuseThis was a really interesting read. I'm normally sort of "eh" towards AU, but I read the whole thing compulsively. It really was gripping, and very very sad. I liked it a lot, and found I kept thinking about it days after reading. I actually read it something like a month ago and was too lazy to write a review at the time; sorry about that. I agree with your feelings about the "alternate" ending. I think what it is, is that this is in some ways a "wandering years" fic. Kenshin is still running away from his past; he isn't able to stop yet. I think what's different about Kaoru and Sano in the series is that they know who he used to be from pretty much the beginning, and they get past it. Here, things work out in such a way that there's just no chance, and so it ends with Kenshin wandering on. (So sad!)

Bh 2005-03-31 ch 8, anon.	abuseWell I must admit this was the ending I was expecting. :) I guess that probably does make it the worse of the two (it seems a book is considered well-written if it leaves me unhappy in the end...), but I'm happier to have Sano going with Kenshin. I think fanfic is allowed to have happy endings and there's a certain amount of cheese that is expected. I mean isn't the entire point of fanfic to make things turn out the way you'd like whether that involves torturing the guys or making them date or fixing everything in the end so they have happier lives. :) Great job writing, keep up the good work.

benign intent 2005-02-14 ch 8,	abuseThe more melancholy ending does fit best, but I couldn't help reading this one anyway. I'm not disappointed--it's like the omakes you include. Robbing Katsura! Highly amusing scenes to consider, but ones the final story should do without. They lighten up the gloomy feeling left at the end a moment, without taking it away. Humor and angst complement each other well, rather like laughing at one's self. There need to be a few good Kenshin fics without a sugary ending. Thank you for finally completing "Broken Rules!"

The RK fandom would be so dull if you didn't update, and if you disappeared off the face of the planet. I checked your website out. Good luck with college. ALSO: I liked the first ending better. No complaints from me though, as it's great to see that you updated. Sorry I was so late in reviewing. -_- This story was very down to earth. The first time K/K never got together for good, but Kenshin leaving... it was a refreshing thing compared to many other fanfics out there. As always, I salute you! I'm always hoping for MY LIFE's ending, and I shall wait patiently for it. Hope that writer's block goes away. I'll keep my eye out for your stories. -Chiki

At first when I clicked on it kept telling me it still only had six chapters and hadn't been updated since mid-last year, which caused me to hyperventilate for awhile. but it somehow fixed itself (yay!). also, strange how it told you you were taken even though you are you and have been for awhile...um, yeah. i was like, "who is this "Maenial" and how did they get on my Fave authors list? So it was nice because i got to see you updated! um, yeah, i'll shut up now.
