A great story. I liked the part where Sara was thinking about what was going on.

Read this over at PwF and decided to reread again as I simply loved it. Excellent way to tie all of the recent episodes together and give some needed and wholly realistic backstory. I definitely feel like all the loose ends are tied up perfectly now. There is a richness, depth, and completeness to how you write these characters. An intimacy that is sorely lacking on screen ... Your characters are stronger, more sympathetic and just more human in their flawed natures and motivations. There's no question why you are one of my favorite G/S writers. I am swept away into a better CSI parallel universe by your description and attention to details. This story was simply fantastic. Cannot wait for more of Black Betty's Prize too.

Excellent story! Great characterization. I loved the descriptions of Grissom's past and his thoughts and felings. Very much in character with Grissom...and Sara too. Two thumbs up here. I'm off to read Black Betty's Prize. Great job!
