Love this fic. I love the cop theme, the case, everything. And Soujiro. ^_^ The only two things I'm going to press are:

1. "the voice on the other line would say 'Missus Seta, we regret to inform you"
Are you trying to refer to Yumi as "Missus Seta Soujiro? Soujiro is his family name, Seta is his first name. (I think. If I'm wrong, sorry.)

2."She's been arrested and charged as an accessory. With any luck, she'll be convicted."

Wouldn't Tomoe have been convicted of shooting the officers? I'm assuming they were killed, because you didn't say otherwise...

Good way to end it.

eh... now that you mention it, you're right! Why did Yumi fall in love with an ugly psychopathic crisp like Shishio when cute Soujiro was right there? Maybe because he was only 16... oh well. I liked the ending! It was so sweet! ^^ I'll be looking for your next story.

I have a question for this chapter when they introduce Kenji and Misao...
How can Kenji be Megumi's son whe he has blue eyes like Kaoru and red hair like Kenshin... and Misao has blue/greenish eyes and dark blackish/blue hair... that would mean megumis in her thirties or forties and Kenshin some where in his early 50's or late 40's o.O ? Then Kaoru would be in her mid 20's -.-; (im so confused)

OMG! They found Kaoru! Yay! Enishi really isn't that bright is he? But neither is any other dingbat burgler,or murderer come to think of it! Great ending! Hope you come out with some more stories soon!

I really like your story! It's so different... I'm not usually one for alternate pairings, but you are doing a really nice job with it! I can definitely see Soujiro with an older woman. Yumi never really crossed my mind, tho. I think you're doing a great job with Kaoru's character too - 'misguided young girl', did you say? ^_^ Ja!

Another good chapter even though you said it was kinda short. Only two more left? T-T Oh well its on my favorites so I can read it anytime. Update soon!

Great chapter! Kinda hard to imagine Soujirou cooking you know? He's skills are kinda like Kaoru's only I don't know who would be worse. Also kinda sad that its not K&K but thats ok! I continue to read cause its a good story! Can't wait for the next chapter!
